Chapter forty

40.

"You may kiss the bride" the priest smiled happily at last

I looked to luke and smiled to him, our first kiss as a married couple. Everyone cheered and clapped as we walked hand in hand back down the aisle towards the car. The fans outside were Screaming and yelling as the flashes from their cameras went off and flowers were thrown over us. Me and luke posed for a couple of pictures before getting in the car and going the venue to take professional photos since it had the most beautiful grounds.

"How does it feel to be Alexa brooks?" Luke winked at me

"Perfect, there's a nice ring to it" I laughed taking his hand and squeezing it tighter

I lay my head on his shoulder and smiled knowing that this was really only the beginning of our long happy life together. As we reached the venue the sun spilt the stones as it shone brightly down on us. We stood and posed for a couple of pictures and then waited for kayla gina along with the boys and my friends for other photos. Soon they arrived and we took many photos. Luke and I wanted a family photo with just the three of us, kayla luke and I.

I looked down to kayla who was smiling at luke and I.

"What are you smiling at?" I laughed

"You look so happy" she smiled back

It was still beyond me that a four year old understood so much about love and how it makes people happy

"I love you baby kayla" I laughed kissing her forehead

"I love you too mummy" she giggled

Soon after we walked into the reception where everyone was seated ready for the food to come. Everyone clapped again as we walked in and over to the dance floor for our first dance together

As we danced away I put my head on lukes shoulder as he did the same to me

"This is all perfect, I couldn't ask for anything better" I whispered

"All I could ask for was for you to be here, that's all I wanted" he said

"I love you"

"I love you too" he said kissing my cheek softly

Everything went perfect from that point on. Luke had organised a firework display which I didn't know about. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen as I stood there in awe of everything.

Finally it was time for jai to say his best man speech

"First I want to say congratulations to luke and Alexa. I remember the first time Luke told me about alexa, he said she was pregnant and he didn't know how to tell our mum or how he was going to do it but it all turned out fine in the end. I've never seen anyone love someone so much like I've seen luke love Alexa and vice versa. It's so obvious that they are still in love with each other like from the first day they met you could see they were going to last. Even to this day they are inseparable and I see the way luke looks at her, you can just tell it all from that simple thing. Now I would also like to thank everyone for coming and my mum for helping so much" jai finished and gave us both a smile

I looked to luke who was already looking at me

"You're perfect, I'm so lucky" he said holding my hand

I blushed and kissed him softly, he meant the whole world to me and I couldn't ask for anyone better than him
