and just like a frame on a wall
i place you in the center for all (to see)
with a poem of heartbreak in your core
you drawing frame drew me in
with the promise of a hollow soul beneath you skin
and you were something i adored
however, your poem written across your chest
was one i knew best
because it was mine words, not yours
so, slowly, you crumble
and you stumble
on silence words i have read before
then the glass breaks
and save the poems, realizing i will do whatever it takes
to be someone that someone will fall for

Final Tear
PoetryI'm shedding my final tears. No more. I'm tired of you being the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing I think about before falling asleep. I'm ready to move on to new beginnings: and my first new beginning will be without you...
