Yoongi had eventually left the ballroom in an attempt to find Jimin who still hadn't returned after 15 minutes.

He passed Jimin's bedroom where he heard a few sniffles coming from. The vampire mentally cursed before knocking on the door. "Jimin?" He called out. A few seconds after Jimin's name left his mouth, the door opened. A puffy eyed Jimin with tear streaks staining his cheeks standing in the doorway. Yoongi felt bad, the mundane had obviously been hiding his true feelings about it all the last year and now they all came crashing into him.

Jimin sniffled before he muttered quietly. "Why didn't they love me like that? What did I do wrong? I thought what we had was perfect..."

Yoongi inhaled sharply before putting a hand on Jimin's shoulder. "Sometimes what we think is perfect, isn't perfect at all, and that's okay. Maybe you weren't meant to be with them and instead you're meant to be loved by just one very special person."

"I'm never going to find that person." The mundane huffed before turning to go back into his bedroom. The vampire sighed before stepping in and closing the door behind himself. "You can't say that for certain."

"You haven't either, you know." Jimin snarked, Yoongi knowing damn well he only said that because he's in pain. "I've been alive for hundreds of years, it's not exactly like I'm in a rush. And despite you being mortal, you shouldn't be in a rush either, you're still young, there will be enough men ready to throw themselves at your feet." Jimin softly snickered before wiping away his tears. "I suppose you're right, I'm only 27, I have plenty of time. Doesn't mean this doesn't hurt any less."

"Funny considering how you tried convincing all of us the past year that you were completely fine."

"Don't use my lies against me. Jungkook felt horrible about it, I didn't want him to worry about me." Yoongi shrugged his shoulders before speaking up. "You could've still talked to me, you know. I wouldn't have judged."

"Yoongi no offense but you're not exactly the most approachable person in this household." Yoongi slowly hummed. "Yeah, I should work on that."Jimin's eyes finally lifted up from the floor and looked at Yoongi instead. "Thank you for the offer though."

"You're welcome." Jimin let out another sniffle before resting his head on Yoongi's shoulder and letting out a deep breath. "It's not fair." He said, his voice weak. Yoongi, despite having horrible comfort skills, managed to remember that hugs did wonders. He wrapped his arm around the mundane and gave him a squeeze. "Life isn't fair Jimin, you just gotta work with the cards you've been dealt."

"Well my cards have been taken away."

"You'll be dealt new ones then, in time."

The mundane wiped his tears away before looking into the mirror. "God, you saw me like this and didn't insult me? I look horrendous."

"I thought about it." Yoongi teased, earning a slap from Jimin. "You're supposed to say I look beautiful no matter what."

"Now why would I lie like that?"

"Min Yoongi!"
