Yoongi peeked around the corner to see where the gunman was. "He's on the right of the dock." Jimin squeezed into Yoongi's hand, his breathing unusually quick.

Yoongi scanned his surroundings before he came up with the dumbest plan ever, but it was the only one that could get them safely out of there without getting into contact with police. "We'll jump overboard at the back and swim under the dock to behind the shooter, that way we can get out unseen." Jimin looked back at the dock before nodding. "One slight issue. I can't swim, you'll have to-" Yoongi started, but Jimin quickly interrupted him.

"Okay, yeah, yeah. I'm a strong swimmer, it's fine. Just get me out of here." Yoongi dragged Jimin to the back of the boat where they slipped into the water. Yoongi wrapped his arm around Jimin's waist while the mundane man managed to drag him under the dock. From there they managed to disappear into the group of panicking people. Out of the corner of his eye Yoongi saw the police tackling the man to the ground.

"Was he a hunter?" Jimin asked, Yoongi just nodded. He recognized the tattoo marked on the man's neck, that group had been the one to successfully kill his cousins all the way back in the 1980's. It's a group even Yoongi didn't mess with, he just ran.

The two made their way back to the hotel where the first thing they did was change out of their wet clothing.

Yoongi immediately went and called Seokjin while Jimin tried filling in Hoseok over text. Yoongi even reached out to a few of their oldest allies, who promised to keep him updated on the situation.

This whole entire situation suddenly made it very clear to Jimin as to why Yoongi was always so busy. He had even taken a risk with sending them on vacation and now he was back to the usual serious and cold Yoongi.

Jimin sat on the edge of the bed, his hands clasped together and his bottom lip in between his teeth. He nervously watched Yoongi try to make sense of the situation. Out of frustration the vampire harshly smacked his hands on the table while raising his voice towards the person he was on the phone with.

Jimin flinched at the change of behaviour, looking at a Yoongi he hadn't seen before. Yoongi was known to be calm and patient, but now he was pissed off. With a deep sigh Yoongi hung up before his eyes fell on a nervous Jimin. "I'm sorry you had to see that."

"It's fine." Jimin mumbled, really not in the mood to be pushing even just a single button of Yoongi.

"I uhm..." Yoongi started before he gulped. "My contacts said it was a sheer coincidence, the shooter was here on vacation with his wife and happened to spot me... We should be safe... But we can go back if you want to?"

"Will that be safer?" Yoongi bit his lip before shaking his head. "Not necessarily, no."

"Then we'll stay, we only have a week left anyway." Yoongi dug around in his suitcase for a few files. The vampire momentarily stood still next to Jimin, putting his hand on his shoulder. "We'll talk later about... The other thing that happened."

"Yeah..."
