Jimin walked around in his room, unpacking his luggage. The mundane scratched his head, he swore he bought more, where was his stuff?
It eventually clicked in his head, he had put some extra things in Yoongi's suitcase. Jimin stretched himself out before going to his door, swinging the door open. He stopped dead in his tracks when his best friend appeared from behind the door, his fist in the air as if he was about to knock. "Tae! What are you doing here?" Jimin smiled.
Taehyung briefly hushed him before ushering Jimin back in his room, closing the door behind him.
"Was it Yoongi?" Taehyung questioned, making Jimin sputter around nervously. "W-was what Yoongi?"
"The one night stand. That's why you two were acting weird right?" Jimin panicked before a wheeze left his mouth, the man slapping his knee in the process.
"Me? Me and Yoongi? Pfft Puh-lease. I would never. I have standards, like, come on." Taehyung raised his brow and crossed his arms, he didn't buy it. "Was it Yoongi, Jimin?" His friend spoke up again.
Damn it. Taehyung knows him too well, obviously, he's Jimin's best friend. Jimin stayed quiet, his bottom lip tucked in between his teeth. "Are you scared I'll be upset? Come on, it was just a hookup right?"
Jimin's eyes slightly widened. "Ahhah.. Yeah... You got me... We got drunk, one thing led to another... Y'know.. Heat of the moment kind of thing, nothing serious, yup." Jimin giggled, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.
Taehyung wrapped his arm around Jimin's shoulder and ruffled the man's hair. "See? It wasn't that hard to admit."
"Haha... yeah." Jimin's eyes fell to the ground. "Okay well, Minnie, boy talk. Help me win back Yoongi." Jimin looked shocked, looking up at his friend who looked very determined.
"I... Don't think you can." Jimin rubbed over his own arm while speaking softly. "Why would you say that?" By just the tone of voice Jimin heard that his friend was hurt. "I don't know Tae, Yoongi sounded pretty clear when he said he didn't want you back."
"Come on Minnie, that never stopped you before. Surely you know a way." Taehyung just kept pushing and pushing, making Jimin grow more nervous.
"I... Gotta go to the toilet." Jimin quickly said before blasting out of his bedroom. Taehyung's eyes followed his movement, observing the strange behaviour of his friend closely.
Jimin ran through the hall before he literally bumped right into Jungkook. The young vampire quickly caught Jimin before he would go tumbling down. "Are you okay?" He spoke with a soft reassuring voice. Jimin looked up at his ex-lover, his friend, and just broke down.
"No." He said while the tears were gliding down his cheeks. "Hey, what's wrong?" Jungkook pulled Jimin in a hug, rubbing the back of his head to calm him down.
"I don't know what to do." Jimin admitted through his cries. "To do about what?"
Oh, sweet Jungkook, trying to fix a problem that he isn't even aware of. He's truly a blessing to anyone's existence. Jimin just remained quiet, letting the tears just silently find their way down his face. "Minnie?"
"I can't tell you Kookie."
-
Jungkook eventually gave up on trying to fix what was wrong and instead just focused on comforting Jimin. He sat Jimin down while he went and prepared his favourite food, that trick never failed to bring a smile to Jimin's face.
Jimin just patiently watched how Jungkook was frantically running through the kitchen in order to get the dish done soon. Thank God Jungkook can actually cook, if it were Namjoon or Taehyung standing in that kitchen it would've burned down already.
Jungkook eventually presented the plate with a proud smile on his face. "Eat." He said while putting the plate in front of his friend. Jimin quietly sniffled before trying some of the food.
It was delicious, it was also very clear that Jungkook had copied Seokjin's recipe to the point. But that didn't matter, what mattered was that Jungkook cared enough about him that he not only prepared, but learned how to make Jimin's favourite dish.
A small smile made it's way on Jimin's face when he thanked Jungkook for what he did.
That was perhaps also the moment Jimin realized how much of an idiot he was when he decided to create a distance between himself and his ex-boyfriends. Seokjin and Jungkook might not be his significant others anymore, they were still his friends, a part of the clan he himself was in, his family.
