"I feel like I'm going to barf." Jimin mumbled to himself, but Yoongi unfortunately heard it. "You were the one suggesting we go on this hike."

"Jeez, yeah babe, I know, thank you for reminding me." Jimin snapped, holding onto a big rock for support.

Jimin didn't feel this way because the hike was exhausting him, the young man was simply sick from the nerves. He was about to ask his boyfriend whether he wanted to become his husband. Whether he would want to spend the rest of their insanely long lives together.

The obnoxiously big ring box was already digging straight into his thigh, giving him a constant painful reminder of what he was about to do.

Eventually they reached their destination, a cutely decorated nook in a corner of a mountain. "No wonder you complained so much, you must've already made this trip today." Yoongi said once he saw the nook.

"Haha, yup." Jungkook set it up for him, he was the one to climb this mountain with a ridiculously heavy bag full of decorations to make this date perfect for his friends. Jimin will always be grateful for Jungkook's sacrifice, yes the younger was insanely salty when he got back, immediately collapsing into Seokjin's arms from exhaustion. The poor vampire's legs had given out and that's when Jimin knew he made the right choice not doing so himself.

"Go stand over there, I want to take a picture of you." Jimin ordered his boyfriend, and hopefully soon fiancé to stand in the nook. Yoongi sighed, Jimin loved taking pictures of him so it wasn't anything new, but it sure as hell was annoying to always have Jimin's phone shoved in his face. He still loved him of course, but Yoongi has thought multiple times of smashing that damn phone right then and there.

The older vampire however obliged, what he didn't expect when he turned around was Jimin on one knee, holding a ring box in his shaking hands. "I uhm- ....I know this is quite fast but, I really want to be yours for the rest of our lives. I love you so much, always have... The day my eyes fell on you I already knew you were one of a kind and the person to be able to stand by your side would be the luckiest person ever... I didn't expect it to be me, however I am so happy that I am... And I want to be by your side, forever. So will you make me the happiest man alive, lowkey dead, and marry me?"

Yoongi let out a snort at Jimin's last remark, looking down at his lover in adoration. "Yes." He smiled, Jimin immediately loosening up and letting out a huge breath. "Oh thank God, I felt like I was about to faint." Yoongi grabbed his lover's arms, pulling him to his feet.

"Well?"

"What?" Yoongi extended his hand towards Jimin, wiggling his fingers. "...Uh???"

"The ring?"

"Right!" Jimin grabbed the ring, sliding it with ease onto Yoongi's ring finger. It was a dainty ring with a red stone in the middle, it perfectly matched his mother's necklace that was decorating Jimin's neck. The raven haired man pulled Jimin in for a tight hug, whispering encouraging words and sweet nothings in his lover's ear.

"I love you." Is what he ended his muttering with. Jimin pulled back from the hug and interlocked their lips instead, smiling big into the kiss and allowing giggles to escape. "I love you too."

12 am, January 1st 2023.

At that time is when Yoongi and Jimin shared their first kiss as a married couple. Jimin had practically jumped into Yoongi's arms, wrapping his legs around his husband's waist while giving him a passionate smooch. Both of them were dressed in beautiful Victorian suits, Jimin wearing red, and Yoongi teal. Wearing the colours of each other's eyes, the favourite colours of the most important women in their life. This was their way of saying they accepted each other and their pasts the way that it is. No sugarcoating, no white lies, because if you can't love someone's dark side, do you even love them at all?

When they finally separated for air and Jimin's feet were back on the ground, they made their way down the aisle while their guests threw flower petals at them.

Together with their clan and Jimin's family, they celebrated the relationship between the two lovers. Jimin's father had even walked his son down the aisle, which he couldn't be more ecstatic about. Who Yoongi walked with? Seokjin, his best friend. Seokjin had screamed really loudly when Yoongi had asked him, unfortunately for everyone the vampire popped the question at 3 am. But hey, at least he was happy with it.

Yoongi's in-laws came over to them, congratulating the both of them and giving Yoongi a tough warning. Jimin snickered while adoringly holding onto Yoongi's arm, resting his head on his husband's shoulder.

"My best man!" Jimin yelped, jumping into the arms of his friend. "I'm so proud of you." Jimin whispered before pulling back from the hug. "And I'm so happy for you." Taehyung smiled before pulling Jimin in for another tight hug.

Taehyung hadn't been in treatment for long, but the steps he made were amazing, he was even shocking the therapists. Jimin even got permission to take Taehyung out of the program for a few days so he could attend their wedding. It was clear he wanted to change for the better, which is why Jimin, his best friend, made him his best man.

Yoongi still wasn't 100% on board with it, but only time could tell. He was willing to give the mundane the benefit of the doubt because it meant so much to Jimin.

Now their focus would be being together and remaining as madly in love for the rest of their lives.

But to neither of them it seemed an issue, they knew they would survive the test of time.

So with a loving look and a sweet exchange of words and kisses, they entered married life, surrounded by their loved ones.

Some they would eventually have to say goodbye to, others they hoped to stick around for as long as they did themselves.

Who would've known that Jimin stepping inside that van with a camera and a wish for success and revenge, would make him end up here. As someone he used to despise yet, he hasn't loved himself and others as much as he does right now.

Capability to love, Yoongi and Jimin both found it. To love and hopefully never lose. Even though it's part of life, the couple has often proved they don't quite stick to the rules.

Min Yoongi and Park Jimin, an unlikely couple that had their own whole entire worlds turn against each other, madly in love, like it was supposed to happen.

True love, and they knew it.

The end.
