"Taehyung..."

Jimin and Yoongi exchanged a pained look before turning their attention to Taehyung. "I- why?" He muttered, his eyes showing how much pain he was in. "...Uh... W-why are you back already?" Jimin bit his lip, cursing himself for the awful answer.

"...Does that really matter? You- Jimin why didn't you tell me?"

"I was scared."

"Scared of what?" Jimin let go of Yoongi, stepping towards his friend. "That you would hate me... You told me you still wanted to be with him and I didn't... I didn't want to hurt you Tae."

Tears welled up in Taehyung's eyes when he shot Jimin a foul look. "Well, you failed miserably at that." He pushed past Jimin's desperate hands before looking at Yoongi and allowing his tears to drop. With one soft sniffle he quickly made his way back inside the mansion, slamming the door behind him.

"Jimin... Are you okay?" Yoongi called out for his lover who was staring blankly in front of himself. He hadn't even turned to look at the mansion, his eyes were fixated onto the forest in front of him. "...I just lost my best friend, didn't I?"

Yoongi remained quiet, he didn't know what to answer. Taehyung was impulsive and currently hurt, there was no way Yoongi could predict what the mundane was going to do.

The two didn't speak at all, avoiding each other at all costs. Unfortunately the two had to be in the same room during Hoseok's and Namjoon's wedding. In respect for the couple the two friends pretended nothing happened. Smiling brightly and dancing the night away surrounded by the clan and Namjoon's family.

Their fight shouldn't ruin their friend's wedding day, they both silently agreed to that.

Hoseok and Namjoon happily smiled at each other, holding hands while looking at their perfect wedding venue. To them, it was a perfect day, which was the only thing that counted. "Thank you for coming to our wedding." The newly married couple thanked their guests while they left.

Jimin and Taehyung left at the same time, exchanging an awkward look. "Can we talk?" Jimin softly grabbed Taehyung's arm. The taller one looked at the ground before nodding. So together they walked to Raefield, and sat on the bench they always used to use as a meet up place back when their life was still there.

"Why?"

"I- Tae I swear if I knew you were coming back I would've never allowed myself to fall for him." Taehyung looked at Jimin with saddened eyes. "Oh so if I wasn't coming back it would've been totally okay to go with your best friend's ex?" Jimin fumbled around with his fingers. "I never meant to hurt you..."

"How long?"

"...Since Hawaii."

"You've been keeping it away from me for 5 months?" This situation really wasn't changing for the better. "I've tried to tell you! But... It was never the right time."

"I don't think there is ever a right time to tell someone you've betrayed them, Jimin."

The slightly older man blinked away his tears, he felt horrible for doing that to his friend. "I'm so fucking sorry." Jimin's hand reached for Taehyung after his friend went to stand up.

"I'm sorry too, Jimin." Jimin's eyes searched for the reasoning in Taehyung's eyes but they weren't betraying anything. "What are you sorry for?"

Taehyung took a deep breath in and looked down at his hands. Jimin let out a gasp when he felt a stinging sensation down in his abdomen. Taehyung stabbed him, he actually stabbed him. The knife dug deep inside of his stomach, the blood already starting to gush out. Jimin's hand squeezed Taehyung's shoulder, trying to keep himself steady. "Tae-"

"He's mine." Taehyung's low voice boomed inside Jimin's eardrums before he forcefully got shoved to the ground. Jimin winced in pain, tightly holding onto his stomach to stop the bleeding. "Taehyung please-" Jimin's consciousness started fading away, his hand reaching out for his friend before he collapsed.

Taehyung softly sniffled, cleaning the knife handle before propping it in Jimin's right hand.

Nobody can find out what truly happened.
