Jimin was with his nose pretty much buried into the map while trying his best to send Jungkook into the right direction. "Jimin, I'm not so sure about this anymore."

"We've been driving for 6 hours, Jungkook. Only 2 more and we are there."

"...I still think we should turn back." Jimin sighed, finally allowing his eyes to divert from the map. "And leave them to fend for themselves? Jungkook, they need us, they need the weapons we brought along." Jimin wavered his hand to the back of the car.

The young vampire bit his lip before nodding, he wasn't sure about this but he trusted Jimin. Perhaps he shouldn't be, but the young man couldn't help but think that his older friend wouldn't do anything to harm him. Jimin has more life experience than him, he probably knows better. At least, that's what Jungkook's been trying to convince himself.

Once they were at the council they made sure to park as far away from the recognizable red car. Jungkook stretched his legs out, they had gotten sore after driving for 8 hours straight.

"It's pitch black out, are they really in there doing business at this hour?" Jimin checked his phone, 3 am.

"Our world awakens at night, Minnie."

"Why do they have to leave for multiple days if their meeting is already today?"

"It uh... Takes a few days for a successor to take the lead... They need to be sworn in and introduced to representatives and all..."

"...I beg your pardon?" Why would Yoongi prepare for that if he wasn't sure it was actually going to happen? He probably is expecting the worst to happen, hence why he was so stand-offish with Jimin. "...They always plan a few days, the city is beautiful anyway, don't worry." Jungkook smiled, but Jimin saw right through it. Something told him that preparing to stay there for longer than necessary, was not something the vampires did.

A sudden wave of exhaustion hit him fiercely. Jimin dramatically yawned, waving his hands in front of his face. "Tired?"

"Kinda." The mundane mumbled, plopping down onto the patch of grass next to the parking lot. "It rained today."

"I have realized that already, thank you very much." Jimin grumbled, he just knew his ass was covered in mud. "You don't have spare clothing do you?"

"Nope. But your boyfriend might, let's go and ask-" Jimin quickly leaped up, grabbing Jungkook's wrist. "Uh... You! You would be a fool if you think my thick thighs fit in his pants, like come on. Impossible."

"....Okay Jimin what was actually your plan?"

Jimin and Jungkook sneaked into the courtroom, horrendous fake mustaches sticking to their faces. Nobody really paid attention to them, especially considering the room was surprisingly full. "Why are there so many people here?" Jimin whispered to his friend who just shrugged. Right, Jungkook probably has never been to the council either.

The curious eyes of Seokjin travelled across the room, halting when he saw Jungkook and Jimin. "Shit." The two quickly ducked under, trying their best to hide under their bench. "We are wearing disguises, how would he know?"

"You're his husband, dumbass!" Jimin hissed, aggressively smacking Jungkook's arm. Jungkook winced, holding his wrist like a kicked puppy.

"Care to explain?" A voice called out from behind them. The two young men whipped their heads around, harshly bumping their foreheads into wood. "Fuck!" Jimin squeaked out, holding his head in pain.

Jungkook quickly put his hand on top of Jimin's mouth before shooting an apologetic smile Seokjin's way. "Hi babe."

"What are you two doing here?"

"Jimin said you needed our protection." Seokjin's gaze slowly shifted towards Jimin who awkwardly cleared his throat.

"Listen..."
