"I won't fail you. I won't fail you." Valtore mumbled in his sleep and attracted the very awake Salazar's attention to himself.

His eyebrows met each other as he listened to Valtore talk in his sleep. Salazar rolled his red eyes and decided to shake it off. He then turn to his left, where Godric was peacefully sleeping.

They were staying in a Victorian/gothic building in the middle of a farm and everyone had to share a room with at least 7 other people.

He hadn't had a good night sleep because of the snorings and fartings and of course, the thought of his dad.

Salazar groaned as his mind swam deeper and deeper in the thought of how frustrating and overwhelming all of this was for him but all of it went away when his eyes fell on Godric's sleeping figure, again.

                  *An hour later*

A week of torture had officially begun for everyone when they changed into an "acceptable" attire and headed downstairs to have breakfast.

After having breakfast in a huge hall with walls made of stone, most of the students decided to put on another layer of clothing before leaving the mansion since it was a typical winter weather.

The boys formed a line and went through the security check.

"Gentlemen, wands please." Wholes held a bag infront of him for the students to drop their wands off before going out.

"N... Mmmmm..." Valtore oddly groaned before throwing his wand in the bag. The professor gave him a weird look, wondering if everything was fine.

After a while, everyone left the building. His head sharply yet strangely turned to his left every once in a while which attracted some attention.

                      *Meanwhile*

"Everywhere is so white that my eyes just can't adjust to it." Helga complained, holding her hand on her forhead to shield her eyes.

"I can't belive we won't see the boys until tonight."  Helga sadly told Rowena while walking.

"Cheer up now. I'm sure they'll be fine and I think we'll see them on our free time. Let's focus on our classes for now. We'll have fun, I promise." Rowena reassured Helga.

" You know, I had a dream last night. I still cant get my parents off my head. Who were they? What really happened?" Helga nagged to her friend while slightly holding up her dress.

"I think you're lucky that you don't know them. This way you get to love them because of how you imagine them in your head and maybe, if they were actually alive then things would've been far from good, you know." Rowena held her friends hand and tried to calm her down.

"W-what do you mean?" Helga stopped walking.

"Sit down." They both sat on the icy white grass, holding a fistful of their puffy dresses to make kneeling easier.

"I... I know it sounds a little wrong but i really don't love my parents so much, y-you know." Rowena looked down after finishing her sentence which made Helga frown.

"Sometimes i think that maybe, if i didn't have them... I-i could've made a perfect family in my head and never have to face the reality like i have to now."

"So you mean now that i don't have a family..." Helga stopped, waiting for Rowena to continue.

"It's a blessing and a curse. If they were really nice people who loved you then... It's certainly a curse. But if it's the opposite then you're just lucky." Rowena gave Helga a sad smile.
