If Only You Knew (Gryfferin Au)

-The perfect team-

  "Cut the comedy. i can't deal with you right now." Godric warned Valtore causing him to let out a small laughter.

He then got up from his bed and started walking towards Godric holding his wand in his fist, closing their shared room's door with a single motion of his wand.

  Godric took a second glance at Valtore as he was getting closer and closer. He was very pale and tall and he looked to be physically around his twenties or early thirties, which was impossible considering this collage was made for young wizards and witches. He had light brown, almost strawberry blonde hair that flew down to his elbow. He had thin grey eyes and notably high cheekbones.

  His attire consisted of a long maroon-colored jacket with a lavender inner layer and gold pins over the folded cuffs. Under it, he was wearing a violet vest over a white ruffled shirt, violet dress pants and grey knee-high boots.

"You're pathetic. It's almost a shame to try to take you down. Look at yourself. Look at your friend." despite the fact that Godric was never impressed by Valtore, his words were really making him overthink and lose confidence. They reminded him of how he was the reason for Salazar to be lying unconscious.

"I'm going to enjoy thi-" Valtore fell head first to the ground before getting a chance to finish his sentence cause of Rowena's attack from behind. "CONFRIGO" Rowena shouted. It didnt take too long for Valtore to get back up on his feet.

  Rowena put the bag of potions she had in her hands on the ground and looked the tall man straight in his eyes "Go ahead. Finish what you were saying. I dare you." she dared Valtore who was exchanging glances with Godric and Rowena back and forth but he wasnt giving up.

"CRUCIO" Valtore aimed at Gordric. He blocked the attack and tried to unarm Valtore. But he dodged the attack. Rowena tried to hold him in place. "Stupify" she waved her wand which he perfectly dodged again.

   "What is going on here?" all three of them looked at the direction of the voice. 'Oh no' Godric told himself. It was Miss Gramilda again.

Apparently some students had heard the noises and decided to inform 'the discipliner'.
She took Rowena, Valtore and Godric to the headmaster's room.    
  
  Headmaster Cadarota was sitting on his chair located in his large office. His fingers were chaned into each other. It looked like he was waiting for someone to show up there in the midnight.
 
"Headmaster, these young wizards and this young witch were caught dueling in the boys dormitory." Gramilda explained. Codarota looked at them with an unreadable face and asked Gramilda to leave.

He then got up and walked towards them and stopped as he reached a 7 step distance from his students.

All three of them were breathing heavily. Obviously worn out and angry.

  "What was the reason behind this? What made any of you think this was okay?" he asked with a very serious voice. Then moving a little closer to Rowena, who was looking down but was still angry "And what made you think it was okay to sneak in to boy's dormitory and fight one of them?" his words were followed by a silence.

He then walked away and pointed at Valtore. "You, young man, were the one attcked by these two. Right?" he asked. Valtore nodded and said "yes." then as Cadarota asked him to leave, he smirked and walked out. Godric felt like his head was on fire from anger and rage.

"You two. Explain yourselves." the headmaster demanded. Godric looked up proudly and started explaining all that had happened today and that his friend Salazar was "sick" and that was why Rowena had went to their room and he could find a bag of potions and organic dust if he checked their room. His explanation seemed pretty convincing.

Cadarota's face confirmed that as well. He nodded and said "Very well young man. But it still doesn't mean you're not going to be punished for starting a fight with another wizard. Dueling is adored but fighting is certainly frowned upon. And as for you young witch, even though your intentions were good, you're not allowed to ever go to boy's dormitory. Ever. Is that clear?" Rowena nodded.

  After a couple minutes of Cadarota lecturing the two friends, they both ended up receiving punishments and the punishment was to clean up the entire library of Worluck Collage which mainly had books about magic history, spells and potions.

The punishment would start tommorow so they both went back to their dormitories after saying goodbye and Rowena giving a brief instruction on how to use those potions.

  Godric opened the door to see two beds instead of three. Apparently they had changed Valtore's room immediately to prevent any more situations like tonight's from reoccurring.

He ran towards Salazar's bed and he was still unconscious. Godric took the bag Rowena had left and got to work.

He first tried taking off Salazar's ripped shirt off very gently to be able to examine the cuts and scars more carefully.

He then started mixing a handful of dust with the potions and pour them on the scars and also his face with caution.

Godric was wishing to be the one who was lying on the bed instead of Salazar and being the one who felt all the pain.

He could hear Salazar groan in pain every here and there and made him tear up. After about 30 minutes he was done treating his friend's wounds so he decided to go to bed and call it a day.  After all, it wasnt going to be an easy day tomorrow.

                        *meanwhile*

   "those two are hiding something. It is impossible to get that many injuries when you've only casted three spells against one another. You are in charge. Get close to them. As close as you possibly can and report anything suspicious. Do you understand?" The headmaster demanded. "yes, i certainly do, headmaster Cadarota." The girl answered and with that she left the office.

  Cadarota was about to turn the candles off when he heard a knock on his door.

He ignored it and walked towards his bed but after the second and third knock, he opened the door with a wave of his wand. It was Aurora. The fairy of flowers flew towards her friend.

"Cadarota, you need to help me. The vault...the vault of nature is gone... We can't find it anywhere." She explained while breathing heavily and holding on to Cadarota who was in shock.

He couldn't believe his ears. "Could it be The Wizards Of The Black Dimond? We both know its not their first time trying to do such thing." Cadarota asked.

Aurora shook her head and said "Their negative energy is too strong. I would've sensed their presence immediately. Besides, they have been locked up in Beta prison for almost 4 years now. They can't get out of there just that easily. It wasn't their doing. Im sure."

Cadarota listened and kept on asking himself "Who... How... Why?"
