If Only You Knew (Gryfferin Au)

-Cought red handed-

  The brooms slowly when lower and lower and lower, to the point where they hit the ground.

"What's the matter sir?" Godric's driver asked as two tall, big men approached them.

"You tell me. What is the matter?" one of the officers asked, placing his hands on his belt.

The driver gave the students a confused look and looked back at the man, shrugging his shoulders. The policeman sighed.

"These kids are umder the age of 25. And what time is it?" The same policeman asked, pointing at the young ones.

"t-two a.m sir." one of the driver's said while looking down.

"We were flown here by our supervisor, officer. But... Ummm... We were told to come back on our own." the man seemed to be somewhat convinced by Rowena's asnwer.

  "Uuuuugh. Ya'll what's going oooooon. Can't you see I'm sleeping... Right here?!" Helga said with a tired voice and her lids half open.

The officer frowned and got closer to Helga. He pulled her lids up to take an actual look at her eyes. After observing her in different ways, he signalled the other officer with his head.

"That one is high on something. Arrest them all." the cop said. Rowena's jaw dropped.

"Sir he was just knocked ou-" Rowena was about to continue when Godric stepped on her foot intentionally, meaning 'zip it'.

"Get on the broom. Even you, gentlemen." the officer told the drivers who jumped up after hearing the policeman's statment.

  The officer then took out his wand and put handcuffs on all of them, leading them to his broom.

The broom was very long and it had chains attached to it which were used to lock the prisoners feet to the broom for extra safety and younger prisoners weren't much different from other ones.

The same cop who arrested them was the one flying the broom while the other one was flying behind them just to be sure no one tried to escape.

After a few minutes of flying, they finally got to the police station.

  Everyone were released to start walking in the building but Helga being dizzy didn't help with the walk which made the officer give them a death glare every once in a while.

The station was pretty small since the area was a small district where not a lot of people chose to live in unless they were in desperate need of a shelter.

They were led to what seemed like an interrogation room. The room was empty with only 3 chairs and a desk in the middle.

Another guy came in shortly after them and brought more chairs with him. "Thank you." the same policeman said to the guy, bending over just a little.

  "Gentlemen, follow officer Nelson to the next room." The cop told the drivers. They left the room and shut the door behind them.

"Sit down please. I'm officer Hecod and i will ask you a few questions, expecting you to answer honestly. Or else I'd have to use wand force on all of you." The cop told the young ones.

He sat on one side of the table and the students sat right infront of him.

"What are your names?" Hecod asked.

"Godric Wizrig." Salazar replied.

"I'm Salazar Caron." Godric replied which shocked the officer.

"My name is Rowena Towch." Rowena answered, swallowing hard, putting her hand over her thigh to hide the shark's tooth.

"Helga... Hufflepuff." Helga answered honestly since she was still under Fion's spell.

"I see. Now, where do live?" the policeman asked, holding his feather close to the paper, ready to write.

Salazar itched the back of his head, trying to think of something to say.

"I live in the Worluck collage cause i study there and my father works there too." He said.

"Mee too." Godric said quickly.

"Heh. So Caron is a Proffesor huh." Hecod said with a smirk while dipping his feather in ink.

"I... Ummm... I live there too but since my mother doesn't have a place to live we are usually traveling from here to there on her broom." Rowena replied.

"I live with Aurora in Worluck." Helga said tiredly.

"So you are all students of Worluck collage. I'm sending cops there to find your parents. While they're on their way, we'll discuss a couple of things together." Hecod said, leaving the room.

  "Now what do we do?" Godric asked.

"Rowena is in pain, Helga is half dead, we don't know where Fion is, what the hell did Towch mean when she said her family was killed by Cadarota an-" Godric stopped when the door opened.

"Okay. Now where were we... Ah! Why were you all out that late?" Hecod asked.

Silence...

"Partying?" he asked. "Drug use? Alcohol?" he continued while pointing at Helga.

Godric shook his head. "Sir we were just... Putting our dueling skills into a test."

"I said don't lie to me in the beginning of this setion didn't i?" Hecod said coldly.

He took out his wand and as soon as he was about to open his mouth, the door opened.

  "I'm here to collect my children... Are you using force on minors?" Caron said with a corky smile on his face, shouting the last part. The students smiled immediately. His scream drew officers into the room.

"Hocod, you disappointed me." the sheriff said while apologizing to Caron who was finally able to be alone with his students.

He was dressed even more formal than ever. He was wearing a long white coat which had silver cuffs around the wrists. He had a milky cravat tucked under his shirt.

He was still walking with a cane but this one was something Salazar's father would own.

"Godric Wizrig, Salazar Caron, Rowena Towch and... Well, Helga. How did you get yourselves in trouble with a man like Hecod?" He asked while breaking their handcuffs with his magic.

"It's a long story Proffesor but basically, Rowena is hurt, Towch and the black Diamond have been destroyed and Fion escaped and Helga is under a spell." Salazar said.

"Well then let's go. What are we waiting for?" Caron said.

  After they got out of the police station, there was vagon waiting for them. They all got on it and flew back to Worluck.

Caron couldn't help but smirk at how he was finally able to give Hecod a taste of his own medicine.
