She had been up all night wondering if things were different, maybe her parents would still be alive. The thought made her cry. She had woken up before Tate, so she sat up and just looked out the window facing her house where her parents murderer stood only hours ago. She began to cry at the thought. She was upset more because she had promised herself she wouldn't cry. But she gave in. As she tried to be as quiet as possible not wanting to wake Tate up, she thought that she would just go to sleep. As she started to lay back down, she felt Tate's strong arms wrapping around her and asking, "Why are you crying?" She responded with, "I was just thinking about my parents."
Tate sat up taking Liz with him and said to her, "You can always talk to me about it." She responded with a nod. And they both payed back down. As they laid there for a few hours, Liz finally asked that question that was nagging at her all day and night. "Is he gonna kill me, Tate?" , she said quietly. Tate pulled her closer and whispered, "Nothing will ever hurt you. I am here. Don't worry" and with that, she faded into a sleep she had long been waiting for.

Liz's POV:He was so kind. I feel bad for waking him up. I wish this big nightmare would end. I am so tired of looking over my shoulder. I want to feel happy again. Tate makes me feel happy... safe. Feeling "ok" was all I ever wanted. I never thought I would admit that, but I did. I felt a connection with Tate that I have never felt with anyone else. In school I was shy and didn't talk much. And if anyone talked bad about me, they got a visit from Jax.
