When Qwen took one step out into the grey ashy dead land, she immediately saw her best friends, trapped in bubbles of sorts...
Only she knew these bubbles.
These bubbles were made by X, and could only be destroyed by one thing in the whole entire multiverse.
Her blades.
She knew that X was up to this, as it was obvious by now. She also knew that X would kill her if he knew that she had gained trust in the sanses again.
In that in mind, she kept the blank face, having done this for her whole memory of life. She knew X was here, even if she could not see him.
All she saw was a girl, a very... familiar girl, to be exact.
Her dark blue hair was shining, and a pair of headphones covered her ears. She had an over-sized hoodie and a shirt that said, 'Mental abuse to humans'. Her pants were ripped and frayed...
It was all so... familiar...
She knew this was in her memory, bug Cross never said anything about this girl. This must be the missing part where she was gone for 3 years. This girl had X's over her eyes and a blank face. It was almost like she was hypnotized-
Nightmare hit the glass-like surface with his tentacle, but the glass didn't budge. Dust was staring at Qwen with amazement, mostly because she looked like she was still on X's side. Killer, on the other hand, just paid attention to the fact that Horror's ax laid in her grip, and there was dust on it.
He rejected the idea, but he thought that Qwen killed Horror...
It wouldn't be surprising.
Error was trying to find a way out, and signaling to Cross, who was beside him. Cross was just sitting there, knowing that X did this, and he couldn't escape...
Qwen straightened, her breath hitched. Everyone yelled at her, hit the glass, and just stared at the person in front of them, who appeared out of thin air. He was smirking, a hand touching the girl's head.
"Ah. C2." He said, taking a step forward. Qwen nodded, knowing this was her name, not Qwen. Well, to X anyway.
"Meet C5." He stated, pushing the girl forward. She nodded to Qwen, and she nodded back. "Who's ax is that?" He asked.
No matter how much she didn't like this, she had to lie. "Horror. He died by me a few days ago." She answered, walking closer to him.
X just smirked and turned to Killer, who's eyes were wider than the moon. Dust was also doing this, but his eyes were smaller. Everyone was just staring at Qwen now, not believing any of what she said.
"Come home," C5 said, her voice monotone. She reached out a hand to Qwen, asking her to take it without speaking.
X pushed C5's hand back and raised a hand. A bright orange button appeared, and this was when Cross sprung into action.
He yelled, screamed, and kicked, punched, even bothering to slice at the bubble, knowing that one push of a button could end their lives.
"If you want to come home with us, press this button-" X started, but cut himself off. "C5, get..." He looked at the bubbles and smirked. "Dust."
C5 immediately launched forward and grabbed the bubble, lowering to the floor.
Dust was pressed against the other side, afraid of this lifeless person. "And kill him." He stated.
Qwen's eyes widened for a second, and she stared into Dust's eyes sadly. She couldn't kill him, knowing that they were friends in another life.
Dust stared back, seeing the sadness. Even in this moment, relief washed over him, knowing that Qwen did not kill Horror...
but he won't be able to tell Killer that... Or anyone else if she actually does do it.
She turned back to the button, reading the one word that struck fear into the hearts of everyone.
OVERWRITE
She reached forward with the hand the ax was in, having an idea. It was reckless, and probably wouldn't work, but she had to try...
She couldn't bear to go back with him, kill her friend...
And not get revenge for the lives that were lost because of him.
She paused for a second, an inch from the button.
A thought struck her...
And me...
