Hey... just know that-

I woke up sweating.

Ever since I learned how to control my powers and stuff with Mia, I could always sense if someone or something was having a nightmare.

Mia said it had something to do with me being a Fallen Angel or something along those lines, but I didn't listen.

With Mia and Gavin, I don't have to worry about that because Gavin controls our dreams...

But Nightmare is the literal embodiment of bad things, so I can't have a night of good sleep now.

Great.

I'd rather have my 'family' though, as cheesy as that sounds.

I sighed, getting out of bed and opening my door, a weird feeling in my chest pointing to...

Nightmare's room?

Huh?

Nightmare wouldn't give himself a nightmare, would he?

That would be ridiculous.

I edged near his door, feeling the heaviness in my chest grow larger.

This can't be happening.

I opened the door carefully, and my eyes widened at the sight.

The emotionless skeleton that I know was crying, he had himself in a ball with his tentacles shivering behind him.

"D-dream... No..." He murmured, whimpering.

Dream? Doesn't Nightmare hate Dream for some weird reason???

I edged up to Nightmare's side and touched his head, entering his 'nightmare'.

Yeah, I can do that.

What I saw was... weird.

Some dude that looks like Nightmare-wait that is Nightmare.

Anyway, Nightmare was next to a tree, which looked familiar, and some monsters were yelling things at him, while...

That looked like the same thing that happened to me the day my parents died.

Everyone else was just walking past them, not even paying attention to what was happening.

It was so... sad.

"DREAM HELP!" Nightmare yelled after someone punched him in the stomach.

Dream was nowhere to be found.

"SHUT UP YOU WORTHLESS CREATURE!" One yelled, punching Nightmare in the face. "YOU MADE MY MOM HAVE A NIGHTMARE!" Another yelled, kicking him with a heel-toed shoe.

Ouch.

The surroundings faded and reappeared to what looked like a cozy looking house.

Nightmare was walking in, more like limping in, with at least 8 broken bones and more bruises than bone on his body.

Dream gasped and ran out of the kitchen, looking at Nightmare with pity.

"I called for you..." He growled, flopping on the couch with a groan.

"I-I didn't-" Dream started, but Nightmare just chuckled darkly.

"You were busy helping an old lady across the street again? Or was it greeting a friend? Everyone calls for you, Dream."

Dream looked really guilty.

"But when your brother is being beaten to smithereens, you don't bother to help." He growled, and a purple glow came to his hands.

I got out of the nightmare, staring at the goopy skeleton.

I sighed quietly and put a hand over his head, making him lean into the touch.

Was he some sort of cat?

I smiled at him and started making him have a...

It doesn't seem to be working.

The negativity stayed...

Did he have nightmares every night?

Using both hands, I tried to make him think of happy things...

After a while, he started smiling.

I sighed in relief, letting his head go.

Ew.

I have a lot of goop on me now.

"He-AHHHH!" I screamed, falling backward as Horror tackled me to the ground. Nightmare chuckled, taking a sip of his coffee.

I laughed and pushed him off, standing up after he got off. "Who had the bright idea to do that," I asked, taking a seat next to Nightmare and stealing his coffee, taking a sip.

"Needs some sugar," I stated.

He just rolled his eye with a small smile on his face.

"Killer dared me to do it." Horror stated, grabbing some red drink from the fridge.

"Gotcha-" Error came into the room still in P.J's and yawned, glitching a lot. "M0rn1ng." He grumbled, grabbing a coffee cup.

"You're awake." I smiled when he flipped Dust off.

"S0 h0w str0ng @r3 y0u?" Error asked, taking a seat across from me. "I can throw about a hundred cars with one glance," I stated, and Nightmare spit out his drink.

"YOU WERE IN MY ROOM LAST NIGHT?!" I burst out laughing.

Apparently, he felt my presence.

"I was just trying to help your nightmare, geez." I held up my hands, and Nightmare frowned, before groaning.

"Did you pet me?" He murmured, making Error burst out in laughter and reboot.

"Yeah! You were like a fucking CAT!" I exclaimed, making horror hit the table in laughter, tears coming out of his eye sockets.

"Wow." He looked very surprised, to say the least!

I missed these guys.

SO FUCKING MUCH.
