Chapter 13

"Trevor?" I squeaked and he smiled. "Hi Hazel, Happy birthday." His voice, I can finally hear his voice.

I ran up to him and hugged him tightly, not a single tear falling. "I missed you." I said and he sighed. "I know, Brent's nice by the way." He whispered and I looked at him funny.

"Too much to explain now, tell you later. Right now we have to turn up!" He smiled and I nodded.

"Great to have you back, Trev." Jc winked. I walked over into the kitchen and saw a buffet of food and I smiled. "Now, what's the plan for this birthday?" I furrowed my eyebrows at Ricky and he smiled.

"Are you willing to put on a bandana?" Ricky asked and I started laughing, "Anything for you, Ricky." I turned around and he carefully wrapped it around my eyes and I smiled.

"Alright, I'll guide you." Ricky whispered and I nodded, still smiling.

I felt us step outside and I shivered, but soon adapted to it as Ricky led me to wherever. I could hear the boys, Carrington, Dakota and Lia behind me whispering though.

I was suddenly hit by somewhat warmth. How far have we been walking? Did we walk to Florida?

Ricky untied the bandana and I gasped, I stood there looking at a beautiful outdoor area. String lights hung from the high beams and a small fireplace in the back, explaining why I felt heat.

We must be by the park!

There was only about 6 places to sit, but we could manage. I admired the sliver grill, my eyes brought me over to the large granite countertop area. We could sit there too!

It was fairly dark and a cake sat on the small square table and presents in the corner. I sighed deeply and smiled widely.

"This is just perfect, guys. Thank you so much." I said looking back at them and we all gathered around the small table as they sing happy birthday to me.

I blew out the 19 candles and everyone cheered. Trevor had a smug, happy look on his face and he smiled when he saw me looking at him. I gave him a silly face and he rolled his eyes.

We moved to presents as Ricky and Cameron started to cook steak on the grill. The smell of it made my mouth water, even if we are eating cake before steak.

I opened Trevor's present and sighed deeply. "Trevor-"

"He wanted me to get it for you, okay?" Trevor smiled widely and i took out a framed picture of Brent and I from our one year anniversary we spent at his Mom's house. His mom loved me and she took the photo of us.

Brent had his hoodie on and his snapback backwards. His hair was messy and un combed, but he knew I loved it that way. My hair was down and I had sunglasses on since we were outside.

I stuck out my tongue lazily while Brent did some smolder look that I thought was silly at the time. I had my 80 shirt and was flipping off the camera, erm, well his mom actually. His mom loved the photo, not even caring about my hand gesture, and she always mentioned it.

Gosh. That was before the piercing, tattoos, purple hair, and drinking.

I smiled with teary eyes as I continued to replay memories of Brent and I at that house.

"Who is he?" Ricky looked back from the grill asking Trevor, snapping me from my thoughts and I sighed. "An old friend, he died a few years back." Ricky gave me a sad look, but before he could speak up, Lia shoved a present into my lap.

I giggled and opened it up. I smiled and eyed the pink Polaroid camera, the one you take pictures with and it prints it instantly.

In all,

Kian got me a hat

Jc got me a necklace with my name

Cam got me a bracelet

Carrington got me makeup

Dakota got me a heart pillow

Ricky got me 6 flannels he found on sale at target.

Sam got me that giant teddy bear, but said he also had a surprise for me at home.

"Oh! I totally forgot!" Connor face palmed and I furrowed my eyebrows. He ran out to his car by the park and gestured us to come over.

"I got all of you something." Connor smiled and instantly everyone was confused. "Here." Connor opened a box and pulled out kittens.

"Connor!" I gasped and he handed Carrington a dark brown cat with yellowish eyes. "For you." He smiled and she smiled widely.

Connor handed Jc a small white kitten with blue eyes and Trevor one as well with light colored brown specs.

You may think, awe how cute! I am thinking, where the fuck did you get these!

Connor gave me a smile and handed me a white kitten with grey and brown spots on it. I smiled widely and admired its light pink paws and grey tail.

"It's a boy." He winked and I nodded, the kitten squealed and I held him close. Connor had given a kitten to nearly everyone except for Kian.

"Sorry, man. That's all the kitties." Connor smiled and Kian shrugged sadly. "I-it's cool, bro." Kian sighed and I heard a whimper from the car.

"You get the next best thing." He smiled and Kian looked up surprised. Suddenly, a golden dog bounced out the car with light colored eyes over to Kian.

The dog looked like Blue, but it was looked like girl... Yep that's a girl.

The dog licked Kian all over his face and I held back a laugh. Finally Kian stood up and pet the puppy. "Awh, what are you going to name her?" Sam gushed and he thought for a second before smiling and looking towards me.

"How about Hazel?"

Yay an update! Is it weird when I heard that Kian got a lab/golden retriever and named it Hazel I thought that he read my book and thought the name would be cute?
