Chapter 28

so I gained ALOTTA readers so I was like, damn I gotta update.

I decided to be somewhat traditional and slip on a white shirt dress for the party next door, I was excited. Sam already tweeted about the engagement so I decided to not check my mentions.

I curled my hair and smiled, I quickly brushed my teeth, something I should've done before I got dressed, and stuck in a piece of minty gum and breath spray so I don't kill people with nasty breath.

I slipped on white flats and picked up Hazel. I waved goodbye to Blue and left the house, locking it with one hand since Hazel was in my other arm.

I walked over and opened the door. The house was quiet and I furrowed my eyebrows. "Kian, I have your bitch." I said and he walked in.

"Hazel! There you are." He said when the dog ran over and licked his face. "Hi Hazel, congrats." He said smiling at the ring and I blushed.

"Where is everyone?" I asked and he pointed to the kitchen. "They're talking in there." Kian said and I walked to the kitchen to see Carrington and Dakota.

We screamed and hugged. "Christ, you blew out my ear." Connor said and I laughed. "Good luck when you have a screaming baby on the way." I said patting Dakota's stomach and Carrington giggled.

"You look so nice! Where'd you get the dress?"

"Forever 21."

"Shutup!" She squealed and i laughed again. "Where are the boys? Besides Connor of course." I gave him a smile as he walked over and kissed Dakota's temple softly.

"They should be down-"

"Wazzzup dude." Jc said in his im-high-but-not-really-high-maybe-im-lil-Wayne voice and I laughed. I gave him a hug and gave the other boys hugs.

"Hi Trevy." I said hugging him tightly and he smiled when I pulled away. "I got to see Brent today!" Trevor said and i ushered him away from the crowd of people in the kitchen.

"Trevor, this isn't funny anymore." I said glaring and he rolled his eyes. "But I did, he said you were going to be happy when you found out the news later."

"About my engagement? Oh yeah, I know about-"

"No! The other thing!"

"The party?"

"I guess it hasn't happened yet. Well, I hope it isn't accidental and you want it." Trevor patted my shoulder and left me utterly confused.

I bit my lip and tried to think of what he meant, but couldn't. I tried to ignore the thought and returned to the party with some more people that arrived.

"Hi Cameron, hey Nash." I hugged them and they congratulated me before disappearing with a conversation with Carrington and Dakota.

I waited to see where Sam was because he hasn't shown up to the party yet. I leaned against the counter and pursed my lips, I saw a beer that I could legally drink but I didn't know if I wanted it.

After my mom was a crazy drunk, maybe she still is even if she is getting help, I've worried if I would turn into that.

Just one.

I picked it up and popped the tab before taking a sip. oh hell no! I spit the beer into the sink, gosh that crap is disgusting. Maybe it's just my mind making me think it's bad because I'm worried about turning into my mother.

I didn't care, no beer for me and that's for sure. I heard chuckling and saw Sam behind me. "Hey baby." I said hoping he wouldn't mention the beer episode earlier.

"Don't like it?" He asked about the beer and I gave him the can. "Hate it, I don't like it." I whined and he handed me a coke.

"Good switch then." He said and I took a drink of the coke, much better, I thought. I stood up and gave Sam a kiss on the cheek as he sipped the beer.

"Three beers tonight, Sam. No more." I said and he nodded. "Then you can drink some soda to see if it'll sober you up a bit, I don't want you drunk when we leave." I warned and he nodded again.

"I promise. I'm not a big drinker." He smiled and I thanked him before I went over to Carrington and Dakota.

"This party is interesting, it's more like a get together." Dakota said and I smiled. I jogged to the speaker system and turned it up, clicking shuffle.

She gotta body like an hour glass but I can give it to you all the time!

She gotta booty like a Cadillac, but I can send you into over drive!

"Yes I love this song! I know Nicki's rap." Dakota boasted and I laughed before dancing with the two of them as we said the lyrics.

Nicki's rap in Bang Bang came on and to my surprise, Dakota rapped every word with no stutter or mess up along with some of her own moves added into it that made Mr.Franta excited.

Carrington and I found our own spot while Connor and Dakota sang the lyrics together rather loudly. We laughed at them but we were very happy for them.

Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran came next and I excused myself away from Carrington and to Sam. "Want to dance?" I asked as we moved to the living room where the couches were moved against the wall for more space for everyone.

Sam lip synced the words as he ran his fingers slowly down my cheek, lightly kissing my lips after. The taste of beer was on his lips, but I didn't mind because it was my fiancé I was kissing now.

He pulled me closer as we danced and I noticed it was only Sam and I dancing while everyone was watching or videoing us together. I smiled and buried my face into Sam's next before giggling when Dakota did a wink.

"When should we have the wedding?" Sam asked and I shrugged my shoulders. It was late February now, the 21st to be exact, and I thought for a moment.

"Let's say June. That gives us about 4 months to plan, okay? Let's try to get most of it planned by March 15th or 20th."

"Perfect." Sam kissed my forehead and I chuckled before hugging him when the song was over. Everyone clapped and cheered and I rolled my eyes but blushed.

"I hate all of you." I said and they laughed harder. I walked over to the kitchen and saw a cake that had cursive words that said: Congrats On Your Engagement You Lil' Shits

I bursted out laughing and called out to Ricky. "Nice cake, Pikachu." I chuckled and he smiled. "Glad you like it." He said and I walked and sat on one of the pushed up couches with Carrington and Dakota.

"I'm happy for you two." Carrington said grinning and I chuckled. "Thanks. You'll find someone." I said and Carrington glanced over at Kian and smiled.

"Yeah, maybe I will." She smiled and I have her a small one in return before I looked around the room.
