Last minute update, I'm sorry

Hazel POV

I woke up on the couch with Sam's arms around me. I smiled and moved away when my mind flashed back to something.

Wrists! Check them! You know you saw something there, just do it.

I bit my lip and sighed, I started to roll up his sleeves when I the front door shut. I jumped and saw Kian in the doorway.

"Kian! It's like," I grabbed my phone and checked the time before glancing back up at him, "nine o'clock!" I said in a hushed tone and he shrugged.

I glanced at Sam and stood up, wrapping the covers around him as I walked over to Kian. I gave him a hug and a good morning before giving him a confused glance.

"You're probably wondering why I'm here," Kian said reading my thoughts, "I just need to ask you some things and check some shit out." He murmured and I shrugged.

"Ask away."

"Is Sam acting weird to you?" Kian asked and I nodded right away. "Very distant." I said sighing and he bit his lip before going to the bathroom, he checked the drawers and sighed.

"Have any razors?"

"Razors?" I repeated, making sure I heard Kian right, he nodded and I shook my head. "Besides the ones I use to shave, those are there." I said pointing to the two of them on the bathtub.

Kian groaned and walked out to the living room, Sam awake. I gulped and he gave me a confused look. "What's going-"

"I know, Sam. You're a fucking idiot, and don't play dumb." Kian snapped and I looked at him nervously, back and forth from Sam and Kian.

"What are you talking about?" Sam asked nervously, I was surprised they didn't look at me funny, my heartbeat was beating like a war drum.

"If you hurt Hazel, if she finds out, she will leave you. I bet you know that, either confess up or accept the consequences." Kian was absolutely furious, he stomped out of the house and slammed the door.

I heard a shatter, but I refused to turn around. I knew what it was, I bit my lip and huffed. I turned around and rushed to the picture frame, absolutely broken.

It was a picture of my Dad and I. The last thing I ever got from him before he passed away, I sighed sadly and looked back over to Sam where he stood.

"Don't open your mouth, don't talk to me, I honestly don't want to hear it."

"I don't understand-"

"Lies, that's all I hear from you Sam." I said tearing up. "If you want to keep secrets, that's fine with me!" I said raising my voice and he stood there dumbfounded.

"I don't keep secrets."

Lies.

"Sam!" I yelled and he stepped back. "You're lying to me," I tried to sound calmer, "I've had enough."

"Blade." Sam said blankly and I furrowed my eyebrows at what he said. "W-what?" I stuttered and he looked up at me with teary eyes.

"Blade." He repeated and clenched his fists. "That's your hint, Hazel. I hope it does you some good." He glared and rushed to his room before slamming it shut.

I heard the lock click.

So that's how it's going to be.
