Katsuki was laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling, his arms crossed behind his head. He was so incredibly confused, and there was way too much going on in his mind. He needed to figure out what was going on, and he needed to do it quickly. He couldn't shake the feeling that something terrible was going to happen.
It had been a couple weeks since he had talked to you on the playground. When your nose started bleeding, and you eventually passed out, he was worried sick. He had no idea what he was supposed to do. The girl he loved was limb in his arms, and you were far away from any hospital or doctor.
He wasn't sure what had happened, he thought it might have been a seizure, but you had never had seizures before, so it was highly unlikely. All he could think of at that moment was to pick you up and carry you to Recovery Girl.
He had put you onto his back, your arms were hanging down his shoulders onto his chest, and you had felt incredibly heavy, which was probably because you had been completely limb.
You hadn't yet regained consciousness when Katsuki arrived at Recovery Girl's office. He wanted to stay with you until you were doing better, but the old hag had sent him out. He had decided to wait outside the room until he would hear some news on your wellbeing.
It had taken hours, but eventually, you walked out of the room. You looked confused and tired, and Katsuki jumped up immediately to support your shaky legs. He had asked you if you were sure you were fit enough to go back into the dorms, but you had just given him a smile and said that it was all fine.
You explained that what had happened was due to stress and your body being exhausted. You said that these things could apparently occur and that it wasn't anything to worry about.
He hadn't believed you then, and he still didn't believe you to this day. He knew that you were keeping something from him, but he didn't pressure you into telling him anything. You clearly wanted to keep this to yourself, and he had no right to put his nose into your business.
After that incident, things between the two of you hadn't changed too much. Katsuki had hoped that opening up to each other on the playground would maybe bring you closer together, but it didn't seem to have had as much of an impact on you as he hoped it did. You talked occasionally, but it wasn't like you were friends.
Katsuki didn't know what to make of it. Part of him thought that maybe things between you would work out, that you would maybe reciprocate his feelings one day, but another part of him could clearly see that you did not look at him like that at all.
He could tell that you still had feelings for that damn nerd and it pissed him off. He didn't deserve you one bit. Katsuki couldn't believe how incredibly stupid that idiot was. If he really cared about you, how could he not fight for you? It didn't make any sense to him. If you would tell Katsuki to be with another girl, he'd ask you to stop being stupid and to get your shit together.
If you would have feelings for Katsuki, he would never let you go. He'd hold you close and cherish every moment with you. But alas, you did not. You fell in love with an idiot who clearly wasn't mature enough to really know what love was.
He was mad at Deku for hurting you like this, and he wanted to punch him even more than he usually did. But he wouldn't do it, you had told him not to interfere, and he accepted it. All he wanted was for you to get over this heartache and be happy again.
It was still hurting him every waking minute that you didn't love him, but being able to occasionally talk to you was more than he thought he'd ever get, so Katsuki had to be thankful for that, instead of whining about the fact that he wanted to kiss you, but wasn't able to.
