Your exit left the entire class confused. Nobody had thought that Katsuki and you would be dating. While everyone else was wondering when it happened, Izuku was trying to figure out how it happened.

He was the only one who knew about your Hanahaki and that the person you had been in love with was Katsuki. He knew that your feelings had been removed, and he knew that those feelings could never return. So why were you going on a date with him? It didn't make any sense.

Izuku was confused and hurt. He didn't know what was going on between you and his childhood friend, but you had clearly moved on. Why did he listen to you when you said you couldn't be with him? Why didn't he fight for you? He had thought that accepting your wish to protect Ochako from heartbreak had been the right thing to do. But if it had been the right thing, then why did it hurt so much?

"Wow. I didn't see that one coming," Denki said, breaking the awkward silence in the room.

"I can't believe (y/n) tried to kiss Midoriya, and now she's dating Bakugou. I never thought she'd be like that," Tsuyu suddenly said.

Izuku's eyes widened when he looked at the girl who was sitting on the sofa. "She tried what?!" He asked, confused.

"She tried to kiss you. Ochako told us all about it," Jiro explained.

Izuku was livid. What the hell was Ochako thinking? He didn't answer immediately, he needed to collect his thoughts before he said something that he would later regret.

"Ochako told us how (y/n) turned up at your room last night, trying to pull you in for a kiss. (y/n) didn't expect Ochako to be there. But she was, so she saw everything," Toru continued, filling the entire class in on what had apparently transpired the previous night.

The moment these words started floating through the room, something inside of Izuku snapped. He couldn't believe that Ochako would make something like this up. You had done everything you could to support your friend, and this is what you received in return.

He looked towards the gravity girl, his eyes filled with anger. "Are you out of your mind, Ochako? What the hell are you doing?" He yelled at the girl, who immediately started crying again.

Izuku was about to walk over to her, he wanted her to look him in the eyes and tell him why she would lie like that. Before he could take a step, Eijiro and Tenya held him back. "Don't, dude. Try to calm down."

Izuku relaxed a bit in his friend's grip, signalising them that he wouldn't make any irrational movements, so they let him go. Izuku was still absolutely livid, and nobody in the room had ever seen him like this before.

"Izuku, please can we talk this out in private?" Ochako asked quietly.

"Hell no!" He replied. "Who knows, if we talk alone you might go around telling lies and twisting my words afterwards. Make me look like the bad guy, just like you did with (y/n)."

She was sobbing. "I n-never wanted t-this to h-happen."

Izuku let out a frustrated sigh. "You should've thought about that before you started spreading lies. Going around telling people that we were doing who knows what with each other. Making up nonsense about (y/n) coming to my room. What the fuck, Ochako?"

It was dead silent except for Ochako's sobs. Nobody had ever heard Izuku swear before. His classmates took a mental note to remind them to never make the green-haired boy angry. Apparently, the usually sweet cinnamon roll could be really scary when he was mad.

"P-please can w-we not do t-this with everyone a-around?" She pleaded.

"Oh I see, you didn't have a problem to put (y/n) in the spotlight and throw her under the bus, but now that the tables have turned you suddenly don't like the audience?"
