When you returned to the dorms, you were leaning against Katsuki who had his arm around your shoulders. From the outside, it might have looked like you were displaying public affection. In reality, you were exhausted, and your body was hurting. You needed to lean on him for support, and you were incredibly thankful that he had offered to give it to you.

"Ready?" He asked when you stopped in front of the big doors of the dormitory.

You shook your head. "I'm anxious to go back inside," you admitted, looking at him with panic in your eyes.

"If any of those extras give you as much as a dirty look, I'll kill them," he said. You started laughing. Not too long ago you would've thought that he was serious about all the threats he was constantly dishing out, but by now you knew that he didn't actually mean it.

Unbeknownst to you, Katsuki meant every word. He'd rather get himself expelled than have you go through more pain. You have had your fair share of drama recently, you deserved to be happy. So if any of these dumbasses dared to give you a hard time, he'd give them hell in return.

You took a deep breath and nodded. Katsuki's grip around your shoulder tightened, and he opened the door. When the two of you entered the common room, all conversations immediately stopped. You were nervous, would Ochako yell at you again? Were the others still mad at you?

You didn't dare to look up, so you buried your face in the sleeve of Katsuki's hoodie. He looked down at you and immediately felt like he was melting. He just wanted to pick you up and carry you around everywhere. Putting you in his pocket, so you were with him at all times, always keeping you out of harm's way. Why did you have to make his heart flutter so much? How was he supposed to ever get over you when you were just so stupidly adorable?

But right now, his feelings didn't matter, he had to make sure you were okay. He looked at everyone in the room, ensuring that nobody gave you nasty looks and simultaneously he tried to look as threatening as possible. Once he was satisfied that nobody would give you grief, he nudged you. "It's okay," he whispered, for your ears only.

You slowly detached from his arm and looked up at him. He gave you an encouraging smile, and you smiled back at him. You were so thankful that you had found a friend in Katsuki. You really didn't understand why the girl he was in love with didn't reciprocate his feelings.

Sure, he was rude towards most people, but if he was this sweet to you, then he would most definitely treat the girl he liked even better. You decided that should you ever find out who it was that he liked, you would go up to her and shake her until she realised that Katsuki was amazing.

You wondered what she was like. Was she pretty? Was she smart? What kind of quirk did she have? Was she in your class? There were so many questions you had, but you would never ask them out loud. Every time his feelings for her came up in a conversation, he looked so incredibly hurt, you just didn't want to see this sadness on his face.

"You're spacing out again." You heard him say.

You quickly realised that you were still looking into his eyes and that you were still standing in the common room, where quite a lot of your classmates were currently staring at you.

You blushed. "Shut up," you said and quickly looked away.

"You wanna go take a nap now?" Katsuki asked.

You just nodded. You weren't going to nap, you were going to research whatever it was that was happening to you. But Katsuki was worried about your wellbeing, so you had agreed to rest.

"Let me know if you need anything," he said before you left to go up to your room.

You nodded and gave him a smile. "Thanks, Katsuki."
