I finished my room quickly and made my way downstairs to the living room where Alice and Rosalie were. Emmett and Jasper were doing something in Emmett's room. Esme was still in her room but Carlisle had returned as they hadn't needed him at the hospital for very long.

Rose was flipping through one of her many magazines. She was already in her baseball kit, ready for the game. Emmett had changed too. Alice and I were watching a fashion program on the Tv. Suddenly the door burst open and Edward stormed in. "What wrong, Edward?" I asked, concerned for my brother. His face changed as he saw Rose on the sofa but his anger returned as he came back to the current problem, whatever that was.
"Yeah. I thought you two were meeting us at the baseball field." Alice added. Even Rosalie set down her magazine.
"Nothing's wrong," Edward said though I could tell something was. "I mean, I don't think it is," he clarified. "I just need you to try to look for something."
"Is Bella alright?" Alice asked worriedly.
"She's fine. She's just being...interrogated a bit right now." Edward paused. "By the Blacks."

Alice's expression changed from concern to irritation before settling on anger. I was a mix of irritated and angry. Rose seemed mostly irritated.

"It's not his place to get involved in this, you haven't done anything wrong!" Alice said angrily.
"I know," Edward voice was even.
"What's it to him!" My voice sounded exasperated. "He can't just leave you two alone?"
"Why can't he just stay out of it?" Rose growled. "They're so interfering." I was slightly shocked that she seemed angry about something that was effecting Bella but then I realised it was probably more likely to do with the fact that it was the wolves (well not anymore since they'd died out awhile ago) and the tribe and their treaty.

Edward said: "I don't know exactly what he's planning, only that he clearly doesn't want me anywhere near Bella, and he seems to have taken it upon himself to try to make that happen."
"How can I help?" Alice asked immediately.
"I just need you to make sure he's not planning anything big. You know, no storming the house or plans to reveal us or anything like that." Edward told her.
"You really think he'd break the treaty over this?" I asked.
"I don't know. He didn't sound like he wanted to. He was thinking up ways to defame me without breaking any rules, but if Charlie can't be convinced to step in, I'm not sure how far he'll go trying to protect Bella."

Alice closed her eyes as she looked into the future, looking for any change son Bella's future or what the conversation might change.
"You two are so happy," Alice said dreamily to Edward. "It's hard to see past that when both of your minds are so completely made up."
"Thank you," Edward sighed. "Is there anything else, though. Really try."
"She does," Rose almost snarled standing up for her sister. "You can't expect her to just be able to see absolutely anything and everything you want." I smiled at that. Alice rolled her eyes at Edward before closing them once more.

"I'm sorry," Alice finally said, looking at Edward again. "I can't really get a handle on Charlie, though I don't see anything that indicates he'll have a problem with you. Other than the fact that you're dating his only daughter, of course," she smirked. "As for the Blacks, I just can't seem to find anything. Maybe because I don't really know much about them. Or maybe because Billy hasn't entirely made up his mind on how he wants to handle things. Or maybe..."

"Your maybes aren't really helping me, Alice," Edward snapped harshly. I was about to say something to defend Alice but she beat me to it. "Then get yourself a real psychic, Edward," she spat. "I'm doing the best I can! Watch Bella, don't watch Bella, watch her but only when you're not hovering over her. I can't keep up with you and I can't concentrate when you're in my head like that!"
She turned and Rose and I stood up. "What do you expect? 24 hour supervision?" Rose growled at him as she turned and stormed upstairs with Alice.
