I started school tomorrow. I had arrived in Forks, Washington yesterday and had settled into the house I had bought. It was already fully furnished though I didn't need the bed because I didn't sleep and I didn't really need the sofas because I never got tired and my legs never ache from standing for too long.

I definitely didn't need the kitchen; I didn't eat. The only reason I needed a house was for shelter and somewhere to keep my growing wardrobe and new books.

I had bought many books on science, maths, history and geography (the last one was an atlas). I read through all the books at vampire speed and I learnt everything the books could tell me. Being a vampire meant I had perfect recall so once I had read each book once I knew everything I would need to.

I had only done this because I didn't want to be behind everyone else never having spent a day at school in my entire life.

I was really looking forward to starting school. I was bored with aimlessly wandering round. Living just to survive, having no purpose. I was sick of it.

I had stopped off on the way here at here in Port Angeles, the nearest city. I had used up the rest of my money to stock my wardrobe. I bought a range of clothes. Fashion had changed so much since the last time I went shopping. Girls wore trousers now! Or jeans or leggings were more common that the sort of trousers boys wore during my human years.

I bough a few pairs of jeans, two pairs of leggings, several T-shirts and jumpers, two pairs of trainers and a pair of boots.

I spent the whole day revising and preparing for tomorrow. I hunted during the night so I would have absolute control tomorrow, not that I thought I would slip up.

I was very excited. I got dressed into a pair of my new jeans, trainers and a white jumper. I picked up my new pencil case, with my new stationary inside, and packed it in my new black handbag. I grabbed my new coat and left for school.
