3. Memories

Ahh I was writing this chapter and was almost finished, after I realized that Ant and Dec never met before their were 17 and I wrote a whole bunch of childhood memories with the two of them. I couldn't really bring myself to rewrite all of it, because I actually really liked what I wrote so I decided to change the start of the story a bit, and made them knew each other before Stephen set them up to date each other. I am pretty goofy sometimes😂🤦🏻‍♂️

POV Ant

For the next week I spoiled my man with everything I got. I just wanted to put a smile on his cute little face before I would see him cry again.
Neither of us wanted to depart from each other and I was dreading the day when we would. And this day came closer and closer.

There were only 5 days left before I had to leave. Until I had to leave him. Alone.

"Hmh Ant.. Did you call your Mam?" Dec mumbled as he just put his breakfast toast in his mouth, that he managed not to burn by the way.

"Decky, please how many times do I have to say-" Dec held his hands in the air and swallowed his food down. "Alright alright. You are like my Mam" he grinned, but when he saw my face, the grin disappeared.

When he mentioned my mother, I realized that I hadn't told her yet. And Sarha...how could I forget this?

Without saying anything else I got up and grabbed our phone, when I dialed my mother's number I felt Dec embracing me from behind. I leaned into his arms and relaxed at the warmth spreading trough my body.

"Hello?"

A broken "Mam..." just came out of me. I knew exactly how she would suffer, so it was hard for me to tell her.

"Anthony is that you? Are you alright? Something wrong with Declan?" I chuckled slightly at the thought that her first concern was Dec but guilt choked me and I struggled to find the right words. I felt small kisses on my neck and comforting arms squeezing me in appreciation, confidence returned.

"Ma...I-" A sigh escaped my mouth while the person on the other side of the telephone gone silent.

"I need to go..Mam" Was the only thing I could say before I could heard quiet sobs coming out of the speaker. Every sob was like a knife stabbing into my heart, tearing it apart, but the sweet scent of my boyfriend made me relaxe and I waited. Waited for some sort of response.

"...Does Sarha know? And what about Anne, what about Alph? How is Decky? How are you?" I smiled lightly and let my head fell onto the shoulder of Dec, who was still hugging me. Never wanting to let go.

"No..she doesn't know. No one knows but we will come around in two days okay? To see everyone..to-"

"To say goodbye" my Mam continued and sniffled quietly but I still heard it and it still hurt me more than I would wanted. I needed to be strong not only for them but also for me. I couldn't bare to  fall weak.

"Could you gather everyone Mam? Could you do that for us?"

"Of course pet. Of course.."

"Thank you and Mam?"

"Yes pet?"

"I love you"

"I love you too Anthony"

With that I pressed the read button and put the phone with shaking hands down. I was trying to turn around but Dec was still clinging to me like a sloth and I couldn't help myself but laugh at the sight of me and him walking trough the kitchen while he hugged me from behind all the time.
