Holidaaaaays!! So I got lots of time for writing!

Dr Cross entered the room, only to see Dec laying with his upper body on the hospital bed, his hand intertwined with Ants, his legs slumped on the ground, clearly the young man was totally out of it.

He sighed in sympathy and scooped the smaller man of the ground, onto the bed next to Ants. Beforehand he told the staff to bring another bed into the room, so Dec could get some sleep. He was sure that Declan wanted to stay with Ant for now, so he let him sleep there. The elder doctor checked Ants vitals and was relieved that he was still asleep.

He was sure that Dec wouldn't leave Ants side until the sedative would stop working, but he wasn't sure if it would be the reunion they wanted to have...

——

Dec shifted in the bed as he heard quiet whimpers, but doesn't open his eyes at first, he wanted to sleep just a bit longer.

But as soon as he took a deep breath, the smell of hospital filled his lungs and he immediately sat up, looking around, his eyes fixed on the source of the whimpers.

He stumbled out of the bed, crouched next to the bed of his partner and took his hand in his.

"Anth..? Can you open your eyes for me..?" Dec's voice was quite, soft and sweet, not wanting to scare him.

No answer, but Ant shifted uncomfortably, tightened his grip on Dec's hand which made him wince at the sudden force.

"Anth..please open your eyes..it's me Declan, your Dec"

Ant whimpered, he had heard that name before...it spread warmness and secureness through his body, he tried to remember..to try and remember to whom that name belonged to. But he couldn't.

As he heard the stranger speaking to him, holding his hand, he opened his eyes and ripped his hand out of the hold of the stranger. Ant shifted as far as possible away from him, not leaving the man in front of him with his eyes.

That man, with the sandy brown hair, the blueish eyes that looked at him with hurt and the sad smile which made Ant feel more and more uncomfortable, that man was a threat,

that man could hurt him.

Meanwhile Dec just stared at him, in shook, in sadness but the biggest emotion he felt was hurt.

Ant didn't remembered him.

The black haired man started to look around in panic, crunching his eyes together and putting his hands on his head, not caring about the wires that were ripped out of his arms.

"NO!" he screamed, his whole body started to tremble and his finger nails started to dig into his head. "No..please no" Ant sniffled, tears rolling down his face and to Dec's shock, blood started to pour down the side of Ant's face.

Without wasting another second, Dec stumbled to the other side of the bed ans pressed the red emergency button.

Several nurses and doctors came into the room, trying to calm him down but ended up with giving him a sedative. Dec meanwhile stood in the corner of the room, staring at the now calm body, but the image of Ant, digging his nails into his head...those images would never leave him again.

"Declan?" Dr Cross saw the distracted man and put a hand on his shoulder, squeezing it gently. "W..what happened?" Dec's bottom lip shivered and he suddenly looked like a terrified 10 year old, that just wanted a hug. So Dr Cross did that, he wrapped his arms around Dec's smaller frame and pulled him into a hug.

As Dec felt those strong arms around him he broke down, let his tears stream down his cheeks and buried his face in the man's chest.

Dr Cross looked at him with sad eyes and sighed, he knew this would be a long journey. For both of them.
