February 1986 - England

"Nikki, where the fuck have you been?" Doc yelled as Nikki stumbled into the hotel lobby.

"Fuck off Doc." Nikki walked straight past him, heading for the elevators.

"We've been looking for you all night! You look like shit, ugh and you smell like it too." Doc followed him into the elevator.

"I was out, lost track of time." Nikki explained.

"Oh yeah? How high were you that you disappeared all fucking night?" Doc questioned him.

"None of your damn business."

He'd spent the night with some friends in London. They'd ended up at a dealer's house, looking to get a fix. He'd ended up overdosing. The dealer had started beating him with a baseball bat in an effort to get him to wake up. When he didn't, he'd thrown him in a nearby dumpster. Nikki had woken up with rats crawling all over him. He stumbled back to the dealer's house, where everyone had been more than a bit surprised to see him alive.

Truth be told, even he was disgusted with himself at this point. Sure things had gotten crazy before, but never this bad. And honestly he didn't care that he'd almost died. Maybe then he'd finally have some peace from his thoughts of her.

"This is why Janie left." Doc mentioned.

Nikki's head snapped up, "Don't you say that fucking name around me!"

"Why not? Does hearing it remind you of how bad you fucked up?" Doc berated him, "The one person who always defended you, watched out for you, loved you finally got sick of your shit and I don't fucking blame her."

"Shut up!" Nikki screamed, slamming Doc against the wall of the elevator.

The elevator was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

"Say that name again," Nikki whispered harshly, his face a mere inches from Doc's, "and your ass will be fired so fast your head will spin."

The elevator dinged, signalling they were on Nikki's floor.

"You better shower before the show tonight!" Doc called as the elevator doors shut once more.

Nikki responded by flipping him off. He continued down the hallway towards his room when he noticed a young lady standing just outside his room. A little black leather dress clung to her body in all the right places. She said nothing as Nikki walked up, but the look on her face said it all.

Nikki kept eye contact with her as he unlocked his room. Pushing the door open, he gave a quick nod of his head. The woman broke into a devilish smile and sauntered into his room. He made sure to slip the DO NOT DISTURB sign over the door handle before shutting it behind him.

Nikki grunted as he rolled off of her. He gazed up at the ceiling, resting his arm under his head.

"What'd you say your name was again?" he spoke, not turning to look at the woman lying in bed beside him.

"It's Gina." she responded.

"Oh," he uttered, sitting up, "well you can go now Gina."

"W-what?" she sat up, confused.

Nikki stood up, turning to face her, "You have until I get out of the bathroom to leave. Then, I'm calling hotel security."

"But I.." she pulled the covers up to her chest.

"Chop chop, you wouldn't want them dragging you out without your clothes on, now would you?" Nikki smirked as he walked into the bathroom.
