When we make it the top floor we step out. He hands Kennedy his key to unlock the double wooden doors. When we walk in we are welcomed with a large living area with 3 couches and a full size kitchen. "the master bedroom is to the left, you guys can have it. It has a California king so I'm sure all of you will fit comfortably." He takes Haley into the room placing her in the bed and putting the trash bin next to her. "Just Incase" He says laughing. I lay Jess down on the other end and put another bin next to her. When I walk out I see Kennedy has already passed out on one of the couches. "Fate has a funny way of working doesn't it." He says walking out of the kitchen. "Thank you for doing this." I say taking my leather jacket off. His eyes trail up and down my body. "You're welcome." He says as he walks closer to me. "I really did enjoy talking to you tonight." He hands me a glass of water. I thank him and sit on the couch pulling my heels off. "Do you want something to sleep in? I know those jeans won't be comfortable." He smiles that boyish grin and walks over to the couch and sits beside me. With a click of a remote the lights die down and the fireplace in front of us comes to life. I sit back and lean against him. "I'm fine in these for now." I say smiling into his shoulder. "You make me nervous." I says shyly. "How so?" He say. He wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me closer "you just do, I'm not usually a nervous type but with you I am." I look at my hands that are shaking. "I wanna show you something." He says standing up and reaches his hand out for mine. I grab it and he pulls me off the couch. We walk up a set of iron stairs and out a small door. I notice a giant outside couch that almost resembles a platform bed. Covering it is a metal pergola. He flips a few switches on the wall and twinkle lights cover the pergola and the fireplace comes to life. He walks over to a bin and grabs a blanket and we take a seat on the couch. He lays the blanket over our legs and wraps his arm around my waist. "This is my favorite place to come when I come to Vegas." He says sweetly. "I can see why." I say looking out off the balcony. You can see the lights gleaming from the strip and it illuminates the view in the background. "You would think in a town that no one seems to sleep it would be loud." I say admiring the view. "You certainly do have a beautiful view." I can feel him staring at me. "Yes I do." He says quietly. I turn to face him and I get lost in his dark brown eyes. How did I get so lucky to be here with him? He's a dream! This can't be real. I pinch his arm and he laughs "what was that for" he says pinching me back. We both start laughing. "I was just making sure you're real." I say looking down to my feet. He pulls me closer and places his hand under my chin pulling it up so I'm looking at him. "You're so beautiful, you know that right? I haven't even known you but maybe 6 hours and I already know your going to make an impact on my life. I just can't figure out how." His voice low and sincere "Just being around you I feel things I've never felt before." He places a hand on my cheek and I lay my head into his hand. "Same here" I whisper, "I think in the last hour you've given me a bigger confidence boost than anyone ever has in my entire 25 years of life" he tucks a piece of hair behind my ear "Ive been dying to kiss you since the club" He says quietly, almost a whisper. I lean my head up and look Into his beautiful brown eyes, "Me too" I say quietly almost as a plea. He pulls me closer and wraps his arms around me. He leans in closer, I can feel his breath on my lips. He licks his lips and leans closer. Our lips merely an inch a apart I can hear my heart racing, before our lips can touch I hear a loud ringing. He puts his forehead against mine and sighs. I pull my phone out and answer it. "Yes Kennedy?"
"Where'd you go? I can't find Yo- wait, are you with- Omg am I interrupting something? I'm so sorry! Have fun! Love you bye!" She says before hanging up.
"I'm sorry." I say placing my phone back in my pockets. He grabs my hand and pulls me into his arms. We lay back on the couch and look out at the lights. I feel at home here, laying my head on his chest. We lay like this for a few hours just talking about nothing. "Are you hungry?" He asks "Yeah, I am actually. But where can you get food this late?" I say looking up to him. He laughs "Baby it's Vegas. Places are always open, plus room service is amazing!" We sit up and walk back toward the stairs. "I'm sorry about earlier." I say before he opens the door "no need to be sorry" He says then kisses my forehead and opens the door.
