It has been about a month and a half since my last encounter with Bellamy, he has gone back to school. Tonight is prom and if I had a choice I wouldn't be going but Octavia and Harper would kill me. They have planned this long day of things to get ready. I really didn't want to go because I didn't want to have memories flood back from last years prom with Bellamy.
Right now Octavia, Harper, Maya, and Raven are sitting around my room choosing the makeup that would best go with their dresses. Raven and I each had a black dress with a halter neck. I had a mesh neckline to my slick dress and a slit up the leg while Raven had a tan color underneath the black lace of her dress. Octavia's dress is a bold red color that hugs her curves with cutouts in the sides. Harper's was a dark emerald green dress with a slit up the leg and a lace detail covering the dress. Maya's is a mauve color dress with glitter covering the dress and a slit up the leg hidden with a ruffle.
"Clarke have you decided your makeup yet? I need to start on your hair while the other girls start their makeup." Octavia explains looking over at me.
I nod my head and hand her the makeup options. She gives me an excited smile before she bounces over to me and begins painting my face with makeup. Raven starts on Harper's hair as Maya does her makeup and soon we all switch till all of us have our hair and makeup finished.

Once we have all made sure our makeup and hair are perfect we all put on our dresses. It only takes us about 10 minutes to put our dresses and shoes on. Once we are all finished we went downstairs where Marcus and my mom take photos of us before the guys get here. The guys arrive by 7:30 and we all take pictures together including couple photos. We then left and made it to the venue by 8pm.
It was beautiful, it was very different from last years prom. This year the venue was a huge mansion and the 'ballroom' area was decorated with tables around the dedicated dance floor vases fill with roses decorating them. As we walk down the stairs from the main level into our prom area, fabric and fairy lights lace around the handrails. We all head over to the picture area first and get our couple and group photos taken. We then go over to the dance floor and begin our celebrating.

~ 1 hour later ~
We have now been here for an hour and the music has started to slow down. Wells and I are currently dancing my hands wrapped around his neck and his wrapped around my waist. The song Love Someone by Lukas Graham is playing everyone is just swaying to the music. I look around at all of our friends and see smiles spread across all of their faces even Murphy's as he places a kiss on Raven's head. I wish that was me, it could have been but that would mean ruining Bellamy's dream and that wasn't even an option. I miss him like crazy and if things were different I would much rather be dancing with Bellamy. It's not that I don't like Wells because I do I just see him as a friend like I just wish it was Bellamy.
Wells gives me a little nudge making me look up to him.
"Hey, you okay?" He quietly asks me.
I give him a fake smile and nod.
"Yeah I am fine" I reply.
"Clarke I am really glad you agreed to come with me tonight," Wells says.
"Yeah, I am glad I came too. I know I didn't originally want to come but I am glad I did. This was one of my last chances to hang with all of you guys before graduation." I explain.
"Well, I am glad you are having a good night but I do believe it is about to get better" He suggests.
What does he mean by that?

He just gives me a small smile pointing behind me. I turn to see what he is pointing at and their stands Bellamy at the top of the stairs looking directly at me. A small gasp leaves my mouth and I look over to Wells who is now standing next to me. He gives me a smile and nods for me to go.
I look back over at Bellamy and see that he is now at the bottom of the staircase. I smile and run up to him and into his arms. He hugs me tightly twirling me around. When he places me down, he smashes his lips onto mine and I immediately kiss back. I am the first to pull back.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I question.
"I had to see you and tell you something very important," he pauses, "I am absolutely in love with you and I refuse to listen to you anymore."
I gape at him shocked, yet confused, at his statement.
"I will no longer listen to you about us not being able to be together. If I want to call you my girlfriend, I will. If I wanted to kiss you right here, I will. And if I want to throw my dream away for you," he takes my face into his hands and rests his forehead on mine, "I will" he whispers.
I smile and reach up to kiss him. He respondes only for a second before pulling away again.
"I want to be with you and only you. I will do anything to make sure you are in my arms and in my future because you are the most important person in my life. Besides, our family." he adds with a chuckle.
I chuckle as well, tears threatening to spill. We hold each other in our arms and sway to the song lightly kissing each other's lips before we are loudly interrupted.
"BELLAMY!?" Octavia yells from her spot with Lincoln.
Everyone's eyes are now on us and all of our friends run up to us. They all hug him and I stand at the side of him with a smile. Once everyone has had their hugs, Bellamy wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him.
"Bellamy, what are doing here? Your classes don't end for 3 more weeks" Octavia questions leaning back into Lincolns arms.
"Well, it was actually Wells' idea. He told me that tonight was your guys' prom and he told me I had to come for Clarke. Basically, he slapped some sense into me." Bellamy explains smiling down at me.
I look over to Wells who had just walked over and mouthed a thank you.
"So you guys are back together then?" Harper asks with a knowing smirk.
Bellamy looks down at me and I look up at him sharing his smile.
"Yeah we are" I answer
"Well, damn Harper you and Octavia just became 50 bucks richer," Murphy says laughing.
Jasper grumbles and slaps some money in each of their hands. Bellamy and I just shake our heads and laugh at their antics.
This is what I wanted my prom to be like. My boyfriend in my arms and all of our friends having a great time together.
My next update will hopefully be Thursday like I said yesterday and that will also be the chapter that I will check on your votes on whether or not I will separate this book into 2 or not. So PLEASE go to the authors note before this chapter and vote on your choice.
And I finally got the BELLARKE ship rolling again which I know some of you will be very happy about.
