*2 months later - August*
Octavia's POV
~~~
"So you just came here to stare at me? I thought you had a question for me?" I ask as I take in the nervous looking Lincoln.
We are currently sitting on the couch in my living room. He arrived only 5 minutes sooner saying he had a question for me but has only stared at me since he entered the room.
Lincoln and I have been getting a lot closer the past few weeks. We even went on a couple dates and they were amazing. Bellamy gave him the big brother speech but he quickly got over that and became friends with Lincoln.
"Oh um yeah. Octavia we have been on a few dates now and they were all amazing" He finally says.
"Yeah they were" I respond tucking a piece of my dark brown hair behind my ear.
"Octavia will you- um- will you be- Ah screw it." he stutters.
He grabs my face before slamming his lips on to mine. I wrap my arms around his neck and respond to the kiss quickly. When we pull away, Lincoln's hand pushes back my hair again looking into my eyes. My arms stay locked around his neck as I meet his eyes.
"Will you be my girlfriend, Octavia Blake?"
"Yes" I answer in a breathy whisper.
He smiles and kisses me again but slower and with more passion.
He is mine and I am his.

Four years leading up to this moment and I can honestly say the wait was worth it.
Today I get to marry the love of my life.
I stand in the smoothing out my white dress taking in the detail of flowers that fall from the bodice into the skirt. I smile as I imagine Lincoln standing next to me. In only minutes I will be Octavia Woods married to Lincoln Woods.
I feel a hand on my shoulder and when I meet the person in the mirror I see that it is Maya.
"You look beautiful Octavia. Lincoln is such a lucky man." She says handing me my bouquet of flowers.
"Thank you Maya." I give a gentle smile.
All of us girls leave my dressing room and out to the hall right out front of the ceremony space where we meet Bellamy and the other groomsmen. We begin lining up but when I walk over to Bellamy he has small un-shed tears in his eyes. I pull him to the side placing a hand on his cheek.
"Bellamy what wrong?" I ask worried.
"I just never thought I would see the day my little sister wouldn't need me anymore. You have always needed me but now you have someone else to take care of you." Bellamy explains with a small smile before pulling me into a tight hug.
"Bell, whether or not you will always be my big brother and I will always need you." I reply pulling away to look into his eyes.
"Oh um this is for you it was mom's. I thought you would want it so I have been keeping it for a special occasion and I think your wedding is the perfect occasion."
He hands me a small black box. I open it slowly to find a beautiful hair piece with white porcelain flowers with pearls and diamonds lacing through them.

It was absolutely gorgeous.
"Bellamy this is amazing thank you." I wrap him in another hug before Clarke tells us the music is starting.
I quickly ask Clarke to put the piece in my hair before she walks and then it is Bellamy and I's turn to walk.
"Don't let go, Big Brother" I whisper tears falling from my eyes as I lock eyes with Lincoln.
"Never, O" he responds.
~Reception~
Lincoln and I sway in each others arms as our wedding songs plays in the background. My head lays in the crook of my neck as his lies in the crook of mine. He softly sings the song in my ear making me quietly giggle once in awhile.
"Thank you," Lincoln whispers leaving a kiss on my neck.
"For what?" I ask looking up at him.
"For being the love of my life, my best friend, my everything" He answers.
I lean up and kiss him softly as the song drowns to the end. Clapping is heard around the room and that causes me to look around with a soft smile.
