Matsuyuki/ Ametsuchi Mashiro's p. o. v

A few days had passed and it was already the Mizunotos' second day of training. I was planning to keep them here for a couple of months. Maybe one if they abide well. Though it's up to them whether they had the will to do so.

If they quit, then why join the Demon Slaying Corps? If none make progress, then try another way. I closed my eyes and felt the breeze around me. It was such a perfect weather that I had thought that the whole mountain I was living on would be the perfect training grounds. Perfect for 50 laps around the base of the mountain... I wore a blissful face.

Of course I had gone back to wearing my first cloth mask. I shouldn't let Kibutsuji Muzan notice my relations with the Corps even if it may be noticeable soon enough...

I wasn't just a survivor for nothing...

Now that I knew roughly about what happened to my family, what happened to me from then, and a bit of my family history, many of my lost memories were still a haze to me. I remember my mother's last words before death but I barely know what she looked like.

Was she beautiful? Elegant? Kind? Graceful? Or quiet and brutally honest like me? I chuckled at that thought.

"... That would be funny if she was!" I sighed happily as I looked up at the perfect weather, "That's right... I have to go check up on Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. It's been a short while since I've seen them, I wonder how they're well?..." Then a familiar sound of a crow flew around my head.

"Matsuyuki Mashiro! Matsuyuki Mashiro! A demon attack nearby! You're the only one close who is available! Head West! Come quick!" The crow quickly informed me. Koru hopped on to the top of my head as he nuzzled against my hair. I patted him, I felt a little bad for leaving a bunny at home whilst I was away for two whole days with the Hashira meeting and all...

It just had to be me... I dazed, but they can't really send the Mizunotos I'm training since they're probably dying by now.

I smiled, "Well since this is my area, I'm responsible for protecting the villagers under my responsibility..." I said as I jumped over the walls of my house and quickly dashed to the West to a village where the weather was mostly cloudy and blocking the sun, "That explains why..." I murmured and hummed, "Well the visit will have to wait a little longer I suppose..." I sighed as I used my enhanced sense of smell to head over where I can smell the most blood in the village.
