"Hello." I chimed, skipping all the way to my desk. Jim looked at me weirdly, clearly amused.
"Okay. I won't question it. But, I will say this. Check your email." He demanded, lightly tapping my screen. I chuckled before signing into my computer.
I pulled up and email by Jim. He had emailed me an invitation for tonight, there was going to be a cookout. At his place.
"Wow, the Jim Halpert is having a cookout? Really? Or is this all secret date because you're too shy to ask me yourself?" I joked, scanning the invite again.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Jim look at the camera and do a perfect white smile.
"A little bit of both." He said, making me laugh, which made him laugh. Which clarified that it was a joke and nothing more, that I was the only one who thought of him as more than a friend. And that hurt, but I had to smile through it. the things I bring to myself.
(A/N when I was depressed😂)"Not really, but my roommate wants to meet you guys because I talk so much about you." He said, chuckling.
"Wow, if anything I thought you hated me because you've never invited me out, like, y' know. Out of the..." I trailed off, waving my hand around.
"Yeah, sorry. I just didn't really know that you wanted to go out. As friends." He said, stumbling over his words.
"Oh yeah, I-"
"Hey!" Pam whispered yelled, Jim and I spun around, walking towards Pam's desk.
"Something just happened." She said I drummed my fingers along her desk, biting my lip from smiling.
"What?"
"Dwight just told Angela that she has to delete all of her sensitive emails immediately." She said, looking between Jim and I.
"What?" He asked, looking over at me then Pam.
"I know." She said, clenching her teeth.
"Wait, what if their-" I tried suggesting, but Pam and Jim cut me off. Disagreeing, then shivering.
"Nevermind."
"Ew, ew, ew." Pam kept repeating.
"Okay, to take us off of that really disgusting topic," I said, signaling Jim to switch spots.
"Let's play jellybean toss. One round." I said, dumping out Pam's jellybeans onto the top of the reception desk.
"I'll toss."

- INTERVIEW
"Jellybean toss is a game Jim, pam, and I play when somethings gone a little too far," I explained, not making contact with the camera.
"So basically, someone trys to throw a jelly bean in your mouth, but if you don't get it, you have to do an embarrassing dare." I said, doing some hand movements.
"How did I come up with it, well I don't really know. One day, me and Jim we're tossing jellybeans into each other's mouths and then Pam came up to us and told us Roy had gotten in an accident. And on the way to the hospital, I just...thought of...it..." I trailed off, realizing how messed up it sounded.
"Wow, I'm a really bad friend."
- INTERVIEW
○○○"Hey, will I see you at the bbq?" Jim yelled, looking at me from his car window. I laughed, nodding my head.
"Yeah, I'll see you in about an...hour," I said, looking up from my watch.
"Okay, see you there."
I quickly drove home, I was going to shower because the day has not been nice. And then change and maybe even apply some make-up. Who knows?

Hey. Okay, I have something to say. So one of my best friends was talking about suicide and how he didn't want to be here anymore. Thankfully, me and my other friends got him to help with the school counselor. But I wanted to say, if you're having a hard time, text me. I'm never doing anything important and I love every single one of you. And I want you to know that I've had so many issues with depression in the past and I can tell you, its easier to talk to a stranger about it than a loved one. Believe me, I know. Please, try to speak up.
Sincerely, your weird author A.J (yes I'm a female)
