-INTERVIEW
"So, it actually turns out, Ji- I mean t-the Stamford branch is closing and we're staying. That god for staples." I smiled humorously.
-INTERVIEW
"So, Lana...?"
I hummed in response as I took another bite of my ramen noodles. Thank god Dwight has just went shopping for the groceries for the office, I honestly would've just starved rather that drive to a place to get food.
"You never told me about what happened between you and him..." I stopped for half a second before taking another big bite of ramen. Why'd she have to ruin the food like that?
"Look, I'm not trying to push you into telling me just for the fun of it. You've been really distant lately, a lot more distant than after he left. What's going on, Lana. Please, I just want one of my best friends back." The took a toll on me, not only did I feel like more of a burden, but I felt an insane amount of guilt that normal people don't have to feel.
I took my best friends other best friend away from her, I ruined my entire relationship with the best person I know, I also hurt that person but I also managed to completely destroy myself and change my entire demeanor. But this has nothing to do with me.
I hurt the two people most close to me and I have no idea if they could forgive me.
Hell, I can't forgive myself.
Eventually all these problems, stress, emotion, it was all gonna come down. And it was gonna come down hard.
It was all just too much for a person to handle. But, for the past couple of months I've been so selfish and all my friend wanted to do was try and help me. It wouldn't hurt to try right?
"Okay," I sighed, dropping my fork into the cup.
"Okay?" She smiled, trying to keep the excitement from spilling over.
I laughed as I watched her jump in her seat.
"Trying to hell me my ass." She laughed.
