Kiyong was already beat up. The board meetings, inspections, signings, auctions, gatherings, and travelling from continent to continent has already consumed him… but there’s still no place like home for him.
He went straight to her, no matter how exhausted he was.
Nothing can beat the warmth and healing the woman he’s in love with can give him.
Not a 6-star hotel or even the most extravagant place in this world. It was nothing compared to her. She was his home. His only home.
He can already feel the sensation he always feel whenever he’s with Dara. The comfort, warmth, contentment and utmost bliss. She was his heaven.
The only escape he has in this world.
Her.
But even before he can finally reach it… cars blocked his way stopping him from his tracks.
“No…” Kiyong mumbled, frightened with how close he was but with a hindrance in front. “Just this once… please…” he desperately said. “Go on. Block my way, I’ll make a new one.”
“Sir, you have to follow us,” sabi noong lalaking armado ng baril at isa sa mga itinalagang bantay n’ya.
“Shoot me then,” Kiyong dared.
“You know the consequence, sir.” The guard replied in a monotone voice. “Your woman will suffer.”
Kiyong was raging mad with the threat he was reminded of. Walang emosyong tinutok n’ya ‘to dito.
“You touch her, I kill you,” Kiyong gravely said with his face void of any emotion.
“Sir,” the guard on the ground calmly said. “Follow us.”
“And if I won’t?” he didn’t lowered the gun, instead, activated it. “You’ll shoot me?” he looked around him, with all the guns pointed at him. He smiled. “Go on. Shoot me.”
But no one dared.
They’re out of their minds if they will.
He’s the one and only heir of Jang Group of Companies. Guns are only props to scare him, but there’s something scarier for Kiyong than death.
It was losing Sandara.
“Now let me go,”
“The consequence—“
Bang.
A scream mixed with blood gushing.
His father will take care of everything anyway. Nothing new. He controls everything, may it be the media or government. He’s way more powerful than the Prime Minister himself. They’re nothing but Ilyong’s puppet, obeying all his bidding.
