15 hours before the incident.
D-Day of Bigbang’s Concert in Seoul.
“I’ll pick you up at 5, okay?” paalala ni Jjangmae kay Dara na abala sa pinapanuod na morning talkshow.
“Ne, Oppa,” she glumly responded.
“Hindi pa din tumatawag?”
Dara fought back the tears. She didn’t want to cry so early in the morning and make her eyes puff.
She just shook her head. “He said he’ll call soon…”
“Dara…” Jjangmae worriedly tapped her on the shoulder.
“Gwenchana, Oppa,” she forced a smile before squeezing his chubby hand. “I’m fine.”
Jjangmae heaved a deep sigh and fought the urge to rant about Dara’s missing boyfriend. He cannot believe Kiyong just disappeared without telling Dara in person. He just left a note then poof, gone. He barely call or text. Days even last without a response from him. Anyone would go nuts if treated like that, and Jjangmae can’t understand why Dara won’t confront him.
How can she even confront Kiyong if he’s nowhere to be found?
Dara doesn’t know any information about the drama that Kiyong’s shooting. Everything about it was top secret that even Jjangmae find it suspicious.
But Dara always choose to trust Kiyong’s words.
She doesn’t ask much, but deep inside, she wanted to.
Deep inside, it’s driving her crazy not knowing how he is. Is he still alive or what?
And it kills her that she cannot do anything. She wanted to visit him. But where? Kiyong doesn’t tell him. So where will she go? How long will she wait?
“I’ll pick you up later for Minsun’s salon, okay? Call me if anything happens.”
Dara nodded with a smile. “Thank you, Oppa.”
She heard the door close and she can finally let her guard down.
Nahiga s’ya sa sofa at niyakap ang tuhod. People are laughing in the TV, but she cannot understand anything. All she knows is that… it hurts, waiting for someone you don’t know when will come back.
Dara woke up with a start when her phone rang. She was quick to fetch it, hoping that it’s from the person she’s been longing for.
Her shoulders fell upon seeing that it wasn’t him.
“Oh?”
“Booya, you sound discouraged and disappointed!!!” Bom ranted. “Expecting someone else?”
“Nah… you called?” she rubbed her eyes, and was thankful it isn’t that swollen.
“Yah, I am hurt! Can’t I call without any reason???”
“Then just go home so you won’t waste money for pricey calls,”
“Hehe. I’m happy to spend my money on you, Ssantoki!”
Dara smiled. “I miss you, Bommie,”
“Me too. I miss you! Boohoohoo!”
Dara chuckled before turning the TV off. She went to her kitchen to prepare herself anything to eat. Nilapag n’ya sa counter ang phone na naka-loudspeak.
