"Waffles!" Jin greeted me at the front door. "Glad you could make it."

"Did I have a choice?" I smiled at him before removing my shoes.

Jin chuckled. "No."

After Jimin and I took off our shoes, Jin guided us further into the house. The house had what appeared to be an open floor plan, but was sectioned off into distinct living spaces by strategically placed concrete columns and polished wood panels hanging from the 12 foot ceilings.

Jin lead us upstairs to a loft area overlooking the family room below. The rest of the men were already waiting.

"Look who's here!" Jin announced, earning the attention of the other five men.

The tall one stood up and walked over to me, and extended his hand to me. I shook it.

"I'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier. Kim Namjoon." He smiled broadly. His dimples made him look warm and friendly.

"Cho Y/n."

"Cho?" The pale man had joined us. "I can't think of a single wolf Cho. Aren't they mostly bird hybrids?"

Namjoon tilted his head as if he was thinking hard. "I believe you're right, Yoongi-hyung."

Well crap. My alias won't work here.

I rolled my eyes with a sigh, annoyed with their terrible acting. "Fine. You're right. I'm a Choi."

"Wait." Jimin put his hand on my shoulder, turning me to face him. "Are you a Choi, or one of The Chois?"

"She's Choi Y/n. The fifth born of Choi Seunghan and Choi Karen." Yoongi stated. Clearly, they had been researching me. Great.

Yoongi continued, "Promised to the eldest Park male heir, Park JiHoon."

"Is that the poor bastard's name?" I had never learned the name of my future husband. I didn't want to know.

The room grew silent. Namjoon averted his gaze to the floor, and Yoongi looked at his fingernails as if they were suddenly intriguing. I could feel someone's eyes burning holes in my skull. Without looking, I was sure it was Jimin.

"It was." Jimin grumbled quietly. Wait. Of course my fiance is Jimin's cousin. Of course.

After a few more seconds of uncomfortable silence, Jin cleared his throat. "Y/n, please, have a seat. Would you like anything to drink?"

"What happened to Waffles?" I shot him a look before making my way over to the couch. I took a seat next to the bunny.

"I don't want to over do it." Jin winked at me. "So, what'll you have?"

"I'm not driving, so, Soju?"

"Coming right up."

"So, kitten, what else did you find out about me?" I asked Yoongi as he took a seat on a second couch positioned perpendicular to the one I was seated on.

He raised an eyebrow at me. "Just that you're family reported you missing two years ago."

"Hmm." This information was a bit surprising. For one, I had been gone longer than two years. Secondly, I had assumed my family knew exactly where I was. Wolves were excellent trackers.

"Guess they didn't bother looking," I muttered to myself.

I heard Jimin scoff quietly, "Can't say I blame 'em." He took a seat on arm of the couch, next to my shoulder.

"Yah! Jimin-ie, that's no way to talk to a guest!" Jin scolded the younger man as he handed me a glass of clear, carbonated liquid. "I mixed it with Sprite."

I took the drink and bowed my head to Jin, "Thank you."

"Did you meet everyone?" Jin asked, settling onto the other couch.

"I don't think so." I turned to the bunny sitting next to me, his big eyes grew wider as I placed a hand on his knee. "Jungkook," I leaned forward and pointed to the dog hybrid on his other side, "Taehyung."

I motioned to the men on the other couch, "Namjoon and Yoongi."

I made eye contact with the one man I hadn't met yet. He had a radiance about him, like he was a bright ray of sunshine. He just looked like pure happiness. I felt a smile tug at my lips.

"Jung Hoseok," he gave me a smile that melted my heart a bit. "You can call me Hobi."

How could these men appear to be genuinely good people, and still abduct innocent humans without showing any ounce of guilt or remorse? Were they a group of sociopaths?
