By 10:00 am most of the morning crowd had filtered out of the coffee shop. By 11:00 am, we were the only people left in the shop aside from the staff.

"Maybe she doesn't come here on Tuesdays," I muttered under my breath and took a sip of my black tea. It had only been two hours and I was already feeling like giving up on the stake out. "What if she dyed her hair? Or it could have been a wig."

Jimin abruptly stood up from the table. He looked down at me, "I'm going to get another coffee, you want anything, babe?"

I couldn't stop myself from sighing at the pet name. I hated it. "No, I'm good. Thank you, Oppa."

Jimin rolled his eyes, but his annoyance was quickly replaced with a smirk. He swiftly bent down and tapped the tip of my nose with his finger. "I'll be right back." He scurried away before I had a chance to react.

I silently fumed while I awaited Jimin's return. No one boops my nose and lives!

I wasn't making much progress on my children's book illustrations, and decided to check out some other freelance gigs as the day seemed to be a wash as far as actual work was concerned.

It wasn't long before Jimin sat back down with a new mug of drip coffee. I let him take a few sips and set his mug on the table before I calmly slipped my hand over his thigh, and dug my fingertips into the inner seam of his black skinny jeans. He jumped in surprise.

I leaned in to his ear and whispered, "Don't test me, little fox." I gave his thigh a squeeze and let go.

"Oww." He rubbed his leg under the table. "What? Because I touched your nose?"

A bell rang at the front of the shop indicating someone was either coming or going. We both turned our attention to the door, only to find a friendly, very handsome face.

Jin pulled out the chair opposite me and sat down. "I can already feel the awkward tension over here. Jimin, what did you do?"

"Nothing!"

"He booped my nose." I said flatly.

"Seriously?" Jin asked, and shook his head. "Why would you do such a thing? I thought I raised you better than that! You should never boop the nose of a strong, independent woman such as Y/n!"

Jimin let out a shocked whine and looked between Jin and me.

"I'm so sorry, Y/n. I don't know where I went wrong with him." Jin shook his head in defeat.

"Don't blame yourself, Jin," I said quietly, and lightly placed a hand on Jin's arm which was rested on the table. "He's just a bad apple."

"Ugh. You two just feed off each other," Jimin groaned and passed his hand through his hair.

Jin and I laughed, enjoying Jimin's frustration.

"I'm going to grab something to eat," Jin stood up from the table, leaving his backpack on the chair, he walked to the counter.

Once Jin was out of earshot, I turned to Jimin. I whispered, just in case, I wasn't sure what badger hearing was like, "Seriously though, don't touch my nose. Anywhere else is fine, just not the nose."

Jimin's right eyebrow shot up, he purred in response, "Really? Anywhere? Good to know."

"Eww, pervert. That's not what I meant."

He leaned back in his chair, and crossed his arms over his chest which was puffed up with pride. "Mmmhmm. Freudian slip." He chuckled to himself. I fought hard against the urge to shove him off of his chair.

"Arrogant much?" I muttered under my breath and turned my focus back to my computer.

Jin returned with a blueberry scone and a small tea.

"They were out of quiche."
