Jimin wordlessly led the way downstairs to his room. Once inside, he quietly closed the door behind us and walked over to the dresser.

I watched and marveled at his fluid movements. He's so graceful.

It's possible I stared at his butt when he bent over to access a lower drawer, and that said butt was quite nice.

The smirk on Jimin's face when he turned around and started walking toward me indicated I had been caught whilst ogling.

Again.

It was becoming an issue.

"Is it weird that I kind of like it when you look at me like that?" Jimin asked, attempting to raise one eyebrow, but not quite achieving the desired effect.

"With my eyes?" I tried to feign innocence.

"Like a piece of meat."

Crap. He definitely noticed.

I felt my cheeks heat up, but continued my ruse knowing full well it wasn't working. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Jimin handed me a pair of sweatpants and a large, black t-shirt. "Here, change into these."

I blinked a few times looking at the clothes I held in my arms and back up at Jimin, not fully understanding what was happening.

His smile softened and his gaze was warm. "You look exhausted. I figured you should just stay here tonight instead of driving home."

"Um," I tried, but couldn't seem to form words. Is he wanting to spend the night with me? In his bed? Together? Just the two of us? Together? In his bed?

"You can sleep here. I'll crash with Taehyung. Unless..." Jimin trailed off, waiting for me to stop him.

I just looked at him and blinked a few more times.

"It's your bed, you should sleep here-"

"Okay," Jimin chirped and spun on his heel, making a beeline to the dresser once more to retrieve sleepwear for himself.

"I'll just sleep on the couch," I concluded.

Jimin's back stiffened. Looking over his shoulder, he said, "The couch is uncomfortable. You won't get any rest. Just stay here. I'll sleep in Taehyung's room."

I let my focus drift to the bed. That mattress. More than anything, I wanted to sleep on that mattress. It called to me with its siren song. A thing of beauty, it seemed to be made of clouds. The perfect combination of soft and firm. I wanted it all for myself. I wanted to sleep in the middle with my arms and legs spread out like a starfish.

Y/n, you're a guest. It's his room. There's plenty of space for both of us. Did he more or less dictate that I stay the night? Yes. Does that bother me? Kind of. But sleeping on this mattress would make things much better.

I let out a sigh and turned back to Jimin, who was now facing me with his head tilted to the side quizzically.

"There's plenty of room for both of us in your bed."

Jimin's eyes lit up and a wide smile spread across his face. He must really love this mattress. That's understandable.

"You can go ahead and change in the bathroom. I'll stay out here."

By the time I had changed, folded my clothes, and exited the bathroom, Jimin had turned down the covers on the bed. He was laying to one side with his arms propped behind his head, ankles crossed, just a hint of his bare skin peaking out of the bottom of his shirt where it rode up a bit, and a smirk on his face.

I walked over to the opposite side of the bed and set my folded clothes on the nightstand. Pulling back the covers, I slid between the sheets and let my body relax into what I assumed was the greatest mattress ever created. It was every bit as comfortable as I remembered.

Normally, I wouldn't be able to sleep without taking off my makeup and brushing my teeth, but I was exhausted from lack of sleep and stress. I let my eyes close as soon as my head hit the pillow.

I felt Jimin shift to get under the covers, and heard the click of the lamp being turned off.

The mattress barely moved when Jimin rolled over on his side to press a soft kiss to my forehead.

"Good night, Y/n," he whispered. I hummed in response, too tired to form words.

Settling back on his side of the bed, Jimin reached for my hand under the covers, holding onto it loosely.
