I watched as Jimin shut the front door behind him.

At least we'll have attractive children. Hopefully, they'll get their height from me.

I locked the front door and turned off the porch light before closing the blinds in the living room. A well deserved hot shower was my top priority before bed. I needed to wash away the stress of the day and process everything. Being kidnapped, learning about a hunter in the area, finding out my fiance that I had never met had been murdered, and meeting my replacement fiance. It was slightly more excitement than I could handle.

No matter how much I didn't want it, I knew I would eventually have to fulfill my filial duty and marry the Park Family heir. However, I had planned on avoiding it for as long as possible.

I just needed to come up with a plan to avoid both families for the next two years.

Like most people, I did my best thinking in the shower, so I stayed in until the hot water ran out. Unfortunately, the steam and relaxing sensation of the warm water hitting my shoulders did not bring any genius ideas for staying under the radar.

Defeated, I braided my hair into two braids and went to bed.

By the time 4:00 pm rolled around, I had finished one of my freelance jobs, vacuumed the house, and washed two loads of laundry. Anything to distract myself from the reality that was slowly sinking in.

Actually meeting my future husband made the whole arrangement suddenly seem more real.

I had been doing a good job of ignoring the destiny my parents had put in place for me. It was easy to just shrug it off when it was just some faceless fiance; almost like it wasn't real because I had never met him.

Poor JiHoon. I knew nothing about him, but I still felt awful about what happened.

What if I had just done what my parents wanted?

No, Y/n! Not a healthy train of thought. Don't go down that track!

I tried to busy myself by alphabetizing my bookshelf. I had made it through the M's when I was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Taehyung!" What a relief!

"Waffles!" The grin fell from his face when I didn't laugh. "Is it okay if I call you that? Jin-hyung calls you Waffles, so I thought it would be okay."

I shook my head and chuckled, "It's fine, Taehyung."

His smile was back, bigger and brighter than before. "Are you ready? You might want to grab a bag or something, we may need to change."

I nodded, and waved Taehyung inside. "Give me a minute, I'm going to change my clothes."

"Okay, but hurry, Jimin is waiting in the car."

If I was going to have to change into my wolf form, skinny jeans were a bad idea. I had learned that the hard way. The less time spent naked in the woods, the better. I slipped on a slightly looser pair of jeans and removed my earrings.

After tossing my purse in a backpack I had grabbed from my bedroom closet, I selected a pair of slip-ons from the shoe rack by the front door. Taehyung was looking around the living room, inspecting my book collection.

"Why are they only alphabetized through M?"

"That's as far as I got." I lifted my keys off the hook by the door. "I'm ready. Let's go."

Taehyung hurried out the door and waited for me to lock it before escorting me to the car. He opened the car door for me and I slid into the backseat. Taehyung got in the front.

Jimin glanced at me in the rear-view mirror.

"Ready to track down a hunter?"
