Once the guys settled down, Jin refilled my drink, and Namjoon began detailing were their search had lead them thus far.

"We've been looking for a week now, and have interviewed 27 women who looked like possible matches for the woman from the surveillance footage. Taehyung and Jimin have gone back to the scene of the murder a few times, but have been unable to pick up a scent or find anything that could possibly lead us to the hunter." Namjoon paused and took a sip of his beer.

It was widely known that wolves were superior trackers. But, dog hybrids were also excellent trackers, too, depending on their dog breed.

I nodded at Namjoon to let him know I understood before leaning forward to look past Jungkook. "Taehyung, you're a dog hybrid, right?"

"Yes, I'm a rottweiler." He gave me a boxy smile, showing all of his teeth. "I'm really strong!"

I want to protect him from the world! He's adorable!

I couldn't help but smile back at Taehyung. His cheerful aura was contagious.

"Okay, so Jimin is a fox. Jin is somehow a badger. Jungkook is a rabbit with viper abilities. Wait." I made hard eye contact with the young man, "Are you venomous?"

A deep blush spread across Jungkook's face. "Yeah. I'm a rabbit with fangs. I'm also very big."

Hybrids in their animal form were generally larger than their standard animal counterparts. My oldest brother was roughly the size of a Clydesdale when in his wolf form. But I had a feeling that isn't what Jungkook meant.

"How big are you?"

Hoseok snorted. Pervert.

"In your rabbit form," I elaborated.

"Umm... you know the Volkswagon Beetle?"

"You're the size of a compact car?" Holy shit.

Jungkook gave me a sheepish smile. "Just about, yeah."

"And you have fangs? That sounds terrifying!"

The guys started laughing again, and I felt myself beginning to relax a bit. I still didn't fully trust them, but I believed Namjoon's promise of a two year delay in my marriage to the new Park Family heir.

"So, Namjoon, you're a tiger, correct?" I asked once the laughter had died down.

"Yes, a white Siberian to be exact."

I nodded, pleased with myself for being able to identify his hybrid side. "And you're a big cat, too, Yoongi?"

"Black leopard." Yoongi shrugged his shoulders as if to say, 'I know I'm cool, it's no big deal.' I rolled my eyes before turning to Hoseok.

Like Jin, I wasn't entirely sure what Hoseok was. My gut was telling me high energy and playful, but also deadly. In fact, all of the guys, save for Yoongi, seemed like they would be playful but fierce. Well, Jin mostly seemed playful, so learning he was a badger came as a huge shock.

Hoseok sat with his hands in his lap and a wide grin on his face, eager for me to guess at his animal form.

"Hoseok, I'm thinking primate, or maybe a raptor?"

Taehyung giggled, "Like a dinosaur?"

"I'm pretty sure she means a bird of prey, Tae," Namjoon gently explained to the young man.

Taehyung nodded, "Yeah, that makes more sense."

Yoongi stealthily snagged Taehyung's glass from the table and drank the rest of his Soju and Sprite. Taehyung pouted at his newly empty glass, but seemed to understand that he was cut off for the night.

"Chimpanzee," Hoseok raspy voice rang out.

"Funny and happy, but capable of ripping a person's face off?"

"Exactly!" He rewarded me a with a bright smile, his mouth forming an adorable heart shape.

"She's good," Taehyung whispered to Jungkook who nodded in silent agreement.

"But I don't understand how Jin is badger. That just doesn't make any sense." I turned to Jin. I wasn't sure why, but he looked like a llama to me.

"Try getting between Jin-hyung and his food, then you'll see it." Jimin said dryly.
