Y/N's P.O.V"Oh, you silly, silly girl." Thomas shook his head as he rushed towards me. My eyes widened as I was expecting him to grab me or something but instead, he hugged me tightly, gently holding the side of my neck with his hand.
"You're giving me mixed signals, Thomas." I chuckled slightly. He sighed and pulled away so that he was looking at me but his hand was still on my neck.
"You're so infuriating. You're as good as dead now, no one survives a night in the maze. But at the same time, I love you for running in, it was so brave and I wouldn't be able to protect Minho by myself." He admitted. I smiled and nodded as he hugged me again.
"We'll get through this. All we have to do is survive the night." I spoke.
"Well, that's easier said than done, especially with Minho hurt." Thomas sighed, pulling away from our hug to look at Minho, who was still laying on the ground.
"What happened?" I asked as I crouched next to him and looked at the wound on his lower leg.
"A griever attacked us. It didn't sting him, so he'll be okay, but it scratched him up pretty bad." Thomas nodded. I looked at him before standing up and going to him.
"What are you doing?" he asked as I put my hands over the seam that joined the torso of his shirt to the sleeve. I ripped down, tearing the sleeve off of the shirt.
"Hey!" Thomas scoffed.
"Minho will die from the blood loss if we don't get that wrapped up. If we cover it, at least he has a fighting chance. Well, that's if we all survive the night." I mumbled as I started to tightly wrap the material around Minho's leg.
"Jesus, Y/N." he hissed at the pain.
"Sorry." I gulped as I stood up.
"So, what's the plan?" Thomas asked.
"I can't move much." Minho sighed, sitting himself up against the wall of the maze.
"What do we do, then?" I gulped. Thomas thought for a moment before looking around. His eyes widened slightly.
"You have something, don't you?" I asked. Thomas nodded and looked at us.
"Yeah. Minho, we tie you up high into those vines, which will protect you from the grievers overnight. Y/N and I also hide overnight, then we come back in the morning to get you." Thomas nodded.
"I don't like the sound of that. I'll be a sitting duck." Minho scoffed.
"A sitting duck that will be too high up for the grievers to get to, let alone the fact that they won't be able to see you because we'll bury you in the vines." Thomas nodded. I looked at Minho.
"It's our only chance, and the sun is setting." I gulped. Minho sighed before groaning.
"Fine. If it keeps us alive." He nodded.
"Okay. Let's do this." Thomas gulped.
"You okay up there?" Thomas asked as we pulled Minho up and into the vines.
"Considering that I'm going to be tied up here for the night to avoid being turned into a zombie by genetically modified bugs, yeah, I'm okay." Minho nodded, making us chuckle.
"Okay. Don't make any noise. We'll be back for you in the morning, so don't go anywhere." I spoke.
"Ha fucking ha." He mumbled, making Thomas smile.
"Okay, we're good, now we just have to-." My eyes widened and I put a hand over Thomas's mouth, shutting him up. His eyes widened as we heard the growl of a griever. I gulped as I slowly moved my head to look behind Thomas.
