Confrontations

Yukio's POV

   We entered my classroom, greeting the students. I informed them that I had a co teacher and he would be lecturing on some of the topics we would cover.
   Rin sat in a new desk, which had been brought in after class yesterday, and pretended to do paperwork, though I could tell he was going to sleep.

Rin's POV

  Seeing as I had nothing to do, I entered a dream haze. A dream haze is where a demon can be aware and rest at the same time, like listen to someone teach, or send senses out.
   I stayed in this state as Yukio taught, listening for anything suspicious or potentially dangerous, as well as listening for my "name" to be called.

Yukio's POV

   After Rin fell asleep, I sighed and continued to teach. Eventually, a little over halfway through class, a student noticed Rin was asleep.
   "Mr. Okumura, I don't know if you noticed, but Mr. Sakira is asleep," the boy spoke after I acknowledged him.
   "He is?" I pretended not to know and walked over to him, "Rune, wake up. Hello?" I shook him and he looked up, annoyed.
   "What? I wasn't asleep. You were talking about the effects of aloe vera on temptaints and demons before a student raised his hand and pointed out that I looked as if I were asleep." I stilled, shocked that he knew what was going on. He was asleep, his eyes were closed.
   "Okay then. Let's resume, shall we?" The rest of the class shook off their confusion and we continued. After class, I asked Rin how he knew what was going on even though he was asleep.
   "Not here. At home," was all he said before heading to the restroom. I followed in silence, sensing he didn't want to talk.

Rin's POV

   Cram school passed without incident, and we were now heading back to the dorm and Amaimon. However, before we got there, Bon attempted to grab my arm to pull me aside. I say attempted because he grabbed air and got a death grip latched to the offending arm.
   "Care to explain why you're waiting for us at 11 pm behind the boy's dorm in the shadows?" Seeing as I was the king of shadows, I knew he was there but didn't change direction as a human wouldn't have known.
   "I want to know what the hell you're doing back here, Okumura, before I report your return to the Vatican." Interesting, he thought he could threaten me.
   "One, Rin is dead. Two, why would you report my so called return when this is my first time here? Three, why would the Vatican even care about me being here?"
   "Quit the games, demon. I know it's you and you're gonna tell me exactly why you're here and what you plan to do, as well as how the hell you're even alive!" He was basically yelling the last part.
   "Why should I tell you anything? You accuse me of being a dead person, and demand I tell you information classified by the Vatican at a higher level than you are, and try to threaten me. Good thing I turned my recorder on when I saw your shoulder from five feet away." His eyes widened.
   "What?!" He then attempted to tackle me, but ended up with a face full of concrete as I easily dodged by taking a step towards Yukio.
   "Let's go before this crazy guy tries to attack me again," I said for the benefit of the recorder before turning it off. Yukio and I ran behind the nearest building, where I unfurled my wings and took off, Yukio clinging to my shoulders while laying between my wings.
   A couple minutes later, I gently landed on the roof as not to jostle Yukio too much. We weren't back for ten minutes when someone pounded on the door.

Yukio's POV

   Amaimon moved to answer it as Rin was putting our uniforms away in the room and I was setting our homework out.
   "Amaimon? Teach, what's the Demon King of Earth doing here?!" Bon yelled, emphasizing demon and king.
   "Amaimon, can you just pull him in here before he wakes the whole campus?" Amaimon surprisingly did as requested, "accidentally" pulling too hard, causing him to slam into a wall and fall on his back only to be hit in the face with the door as Amaimon not-so-gently closed it.
   Bon got up, cradling a bloody nose as a nasty bruise appeared where the door connected with his face. Rin now decided to make an appearance, chucking a first aid kit at Bon, whacking him square on the forehead, causing a bump to form.
   "Oops." Amaimon and Rin said at exactly the same time, both speaking in an innocent tone.
    "What did you come here for?" I asked, though I wished I had a chance to cause something to "accidentally" happen to Bon.
   "I want to talk to Rin. I know he is going by Rune as he told me to never diss his younger brother, something that only Rin says and he didn't say brothers."
   "Congrats, you got me," Rin said, seriously, but continued in a mocking tone, "Is that what you wanted me to say?"

Rin's POV

   'Amai, should I let Bon know who I really am and scare him to death?' I asked through demon telepathy.
   'That sounds fun. Can I help?' said demon replied, also telepathically.
   'Sneak up and jump scare him so I can start.' Amai did as requested, causing a distracted Bon to leap to his feet in surprise. I used my demonic speed and got in his face.
   "You want the truth?" I made him sit, using my balance domain to make him feel heavier. All he could do was nod.
   "I am Rin Okumura, son of Satan, Crown Prince of Gahenna, Demon King of Shadows and Balance, as well as the Phoenix. I am the most powerful, second only to Satan, if not equal or more powerful than him," I started, "Tell anyone of this and I will know. I make this promise to you - tell another soul and you will regret it dearly." By this time, Bon was trembling in fear due to the pure strength and authority of my aura, which I had released a small amount of, keeping it away from Amaimon and Yukio.
   "Get out of my sight, scum." As soon as the command left my lips, Bon was running for the door, eager to get out. He might be a tough guy but even Satan was affected by my aura, so a human stood no chance. Bon knew this.
