Yukio's POV

After Amaimon and Rin's explanation, we went to bed. The next morning, I awoke to find that I was alone. Slowly, I got up and did my morning routine.
Stepping out of my room with my school bag, I smelled pancakes. Following the scent, I saw Rin trying to shove Amaimon out of the kitchen, both covered in what appeared to be sugar, and a pancake about to burn on the stove.
"Rin, your pancake is about to burn!" Both froze, then Rin processed what I said.
"My pancakes!" He rushed to the stove, getting the pancake out just before it burned. Amaimon, realizing he had been forgotten by Rin, snatched a bottle of syrup off the counter. Taking the lid off, he snuck up to Rin, and poured the syrup on him.
This caused Rin to turn around, and in retaliation he grabbed a nearby jar of jam and proceeded to empty its contents on Amaimon.
How can these ridiculous children be assigned to be my 'bodyguards'? I thought, remembering our talk last night. In order to protect me, one of them was supposed to be with or near me at all times.
Once Rin finished making pancakes, which were miraculously unscathed during the food fight in the kitchen, we ate. When Rin finished his food, however, he disappeared in a flare of blue flames.
"Fire travel. Only Rin, Father, and Ilbis can do it. Rin is the only one able to travel between worlds," Amaimon explained, noticing my confusion. Only five minutes later, Rin reappeared in his flames, this time fully dressed in a True Cross uniform, identical to mine.
"Why are you in uniform?"
"I'm going to school with you."
"You're supposed to be dead."
"I'm Rune Sakira, identical twin of Rin. There was a fire at a restaurant while we were there and I was believed to be dead. I wasn't and the Sakiras found me and took me in. Since I was a baby, I didn't remember anything and you didn't know about me until last week. At least, that's my backstory."
"Okay. Are you supposed to be older or younger than me?"
"I'm the oldest. Also I'm 'human' and didn't inherit the flames." It made sense, hide his ability as to surprise attackers. Rin was now shockingly intelligent.
"Mephisto faked my documents and I'm in all of your classes, including the advanced ones. I'm a co teacher in your cram school classes, just tell me what you want me to do so it doesn't look like I'm slacking off." He glanced at the clock after this, took a double take, grabbed my shoulder and our bags, and fire travelled us to the hall outside first period.
"What? We're ten minutes late," he said, responding to my questioning glare.
I sighed, but entered the room when he handed me my bag.
"I'm sorry sir, as you heard we have a new student, who got lost. I was asked to find him and guide him here." Rin nodded in confirmation to my explanation.
"I'm Rune Sakira, sir." He spoke up.
"Please find a seat and sit down." Rin and I sat in the back of the room as the lesson continued. Once seated, Rin closed his eyes and took a deep breath, opening them a couple minutes later. He did this a few times throughout all of our morning classes.

Rin's POV

After Yukio and I sat down, I closed my eyes and threw my senses out, seeing if there was any danger nearby. Double checking that there wasn't, I reopened my eyes and concentrated on the lesson.
I did this multiple times throughout the morning. Being cautious, I teleported Yukio and I to the dorm where Ukobach (and not Amaimon, thank goodness) had prepared a lunch of kare-raisu, or curry rice.
After lunch, I would throw my senses out, listening for a click of a weapon, the smell of a sedative, a suspicious person watching Yukio, or the activation of my danger sense. School passed without incident, nor running into any of my former classmates.
Cram school was next, after dinner and a change of clothes. Since Yukio likes to be fifteen minutes early, in order to prepare for class only to walk in like he arrived when the students did, we ran into the Kyoto Trio.
"Yukio, am I hallucinating or is that your piece of crap demon 'brother' beside you?" Bon asked.
"You are the piece of crap, and no, my brother committed suicide but you should know as you were the cause."
"Yep. Glad that demon killed himself. Did the world a favor."
"Call my younger brother a demon again and you won't be able to talk for a month. You pushed him to kill himself, you told him he was worthless and didn't deserve to live when you would've been dead had he not been there. You call him dangerous, say he could and would kill you all when he risked his life to save you. Never talk bad about my brother again, " I seethed, my voice dangerous and threatening. I stood up for myself, but had to play off as if I were someone else. At least I would finally be able to break his jaw and beat him.
"As if you would do anything. You're a twig. Skinnier than your demon of a brother and the idiot beside you." Insulting Yukio caused me to snap. I punched him in the face, causing him to fly back 3 feet and land on his butt. Judging by the sound of a snapping bone when my fist made contact, I broke his jaw. Shima and Konekomoru then tried to attack me. I broke three of Shima's ribs and Konekomoru's glasses.
Crouching down beside Bon, I spoke in a low, threatening voice.
"Never diss my younger brother." His eyes widened in realization as I pulled Yukio down the hall, arriving to his class as the students arrived.

Bon's POV

I watched, in pain, as Shima and Koneko were beaten and the demon's brother walked up to me. Crouching, he spoke in a low, menacing voice.
"Never diss my younger brother." My eyes widened, I had only heard one person say those exact words. The demon, Rin Okumura.
It couldn't be him, or could it?
