I woke up with my head on the dashboard and my truck parked outside of Ricardo's. Mike was in the car with me on his phone. I guess bro's can't leave a bro in need.

He looked over at me. "You're awake." he stated.

"Sadly." I wipe my eyes as I talk.

"You are going to lose tons of girls, Kyle. You just have to take a step back and breathe. I know I've lost tons of girls."

"Have you ever lost someone you loved?"

"You didn't love Cassidy." He says eye brows furrowed.

"If I didn't would we be sitting here in my car?" I say. Feeling hurt. Then I looked out the window. Of course it was raining again. How cliché. I closed my eyes momentarily and I see her walking away again. And then I was crying again.

"Dude? What the heck you were fine a second ago."

"You will never understand." I snap back and then start walking down the sidewalk in front of the strip malls. I stop in the Starbucks. I order a plain black coffee. I sit down at a random table and begin to think. Why me? Why me?

Then I look up and see a girl that looks exactly like Cassidy. I'm almost into tears then she turns around and I see her bright face and our eyes meet. It's her. She looks scared and then she walks out the door. I run after her.

"CASSIDY!" I scream. "CASSIDY!" She doesn't stop but then I'm right next to her and I grab her shoulder.

She raises her eyebrows in response.

"Hey." I say not knowing how to start. "I know you don't think you want me, but we are meant to be. I love you so much. Please I need you!"

"I can't be with you without remembering what could of been, Kyle."

"We can try again, we can get married." I say and I'm now on my knees, my hands folded and I'm holding them out in front of me. I don't realize it but Cassidy is now crying, and seeing that brings me to tears.

"HE TOLD ME I CAN'T CARRY ANY CHILDREN!!" After she finished screaming she puts her hands over her ears as if she can't believe what she just said.

"What?" I ask in disbelief.

"Yeah." She says sounding ashamed tears poring down her face but it blends in with the rain.

"We can adopt children! I love you. You are all I want." My head is on the ground now and she is walking away again. It hurts just as much as it did the first time. i sit there watching her and all I can do to obtain my emotions is, breathe.
