I drove home in silence. The radio turned off. And tears rolling down my face. I couldn't help but wonder have I lost her?
When I get to my apartment, Cassidy is standing at the door.
I look at her confused. "What do you want?" I ask."You!" Then jumps all over me. Swings open the apartment door and pulls me inside. We are on the ground now and I am trying to break free from her clasp. When I am almost free, the door swings open once more and Rayna is standing in the doorway with her jaw dropped. "Of course..." She whispers.
She is about to leave, but I scream back at her. "NO RAYNA WAIT!" And then I shove Cassidy off of me. She lays paralyzed on the ground shocked that I don't want her.
Rayna turns around. She is crying now. I can see she is hurt. I hug her but she shoves me off. "Cassidy, came onto me, Rayna. I swear. I love you. Only you. I don't want Cassidy." And with that Cassidy is back on her feet throwing a temper tantrum.
"You wanted me three months ago!" Cassidy screams.
"Things change." I exclaim.
I look back at Rayna and she is smiling. Cassidy is now walking out. "Before you I felt so alone." I tell Rayna. She is back to crying again. She wraps her arms around me, an rests her head on my shoulder.
"Well you're Not Alone." She says taking gasps of air as she talks.
Now we are both crying and we kiss.
