chapter 13 : someone's girlfriend

I got into the room chidinma following behind me as I see amina laying on the bed listening to the radio, she greets me and chidinma, clearly adjusting her self ready for the scene that would be made this night. Although I wasn't even ready, I still don't want to believe that tessa would do such a thing.

Tessa got out of the bathroom in our room, at evergreen each room had a bathroom, so it was easier to make use of it, and still arrive to school on time. she walked to her bed greeting me as she asked how my day went

"Awful, my day was awful" I said to her trying to get mad already, this bitch looked so innocent who would guess she was that shameless and hateful

"Ahn what happened?" She asked packing her hair into a hair net

"Do you really want to know?" I asked her again, waiting for her to atleast tell me all i saw that day was her acting or playing or something.

She nodded " why did you lie to me Tessa?" I asked

She looked confused for a bit " what do you mean?" She said her voice cracking a bit, she was panicking

" Tessa you know I never thought you are the kind that would go behind ones back to force a dude to kiss you, you threw yourself at him, and you came back to this room to pour lies and make me think ill of him, how could you be so hateful, you've never been happy for me ever since I got approached by farian, you like farian don't you?" I asked, but she stood still still clearly shocked, I was getting more angry

" You fucking came here in your fake tears, what do you take me for Tessa, a stupid person, I trusted you, I felt bad that I was actually the reason why you had gone to talk to farian that day before you were assaulted  like you lied, I really trusted you enough to call you my bestfriend, I guess you never knew amina was right there she saw and captured everything on camera, while you plotted your evil plans, you're just a lying whore, you've been pretending all these while going to church and acting all innocent, the way you always judged me and all my actions but you're worse, I can't believe I actually considered you a loyal friend, you're heartless, cruel and you are the meanest person I've ever met, I don't want to ever see you close to me, I don't need anything from you, I hope you better your ways and put away all these negative attitude away" I said as I angrily climb my bed. Before I could get to the top she spoke up

" I accept all you have said, I'm not a good person, I'm definitely not a good friend, I know how bad what I've done is, but I'm assuring you that farian isn't a good per-" I didn't let her finish

"Save it!, I don't care what you think anymore, why do you think I'll believe the words that come out of your mouth, you've done enough damage to me, just don't escalate it" I said climbing the top of my bonk.

I didn't care what she did or how she felt, but I knew the room was awkwardly quiet that night and everyone slept quite early, all I could think of was how I would approach farian after I had said those mean words to him.

I had met farian the next day after class, and he wasn't really angry, he told me how I had hurt him, but he was willing to forgive me

"I like you very much blessing" he said to me, " trust me I'll never do anything that would hurt you in anyway,i know that friend of yours would have lied to you, I didn't know what to do, I really like you blessing, but you're not giving me a chance to show you how much I care"

We were seated in the dinning hall eating our lunch, I was a but confused as I didn't understand what he meant by all that, was he asking me out?, I didn't want to think of it too much

" I don't know what to say" I told him trying to hide my face as he was staring at me too much that it was making me very uncomfortable

" Just give me an answer now, be my girlfriend" he said as I froze. Did he just actually ask me to be his girlfriend?, Farian temitan asked me to be his girlfriend , I was freaking out, should I agree immediately or should I wait, I'll agree, no I wasn't supposed to be dating, I thought, but I like him, I should just say yes.

" Hello blessing, em.. I'm Waiting" he said waving his fingers in front of my face, that brought me out of my train of thoughts

" Yes, I'll date you" I said smiling shyly and looking down on my food

"I love you babe" he said to me. I didn't say it back but I smiled as he looked at me, and continued eating his food, I didn't eat alot as I was too excited to even digest anything at that moment.
