Chapter 13

Aelin sat in bed with her back to the headboard watching her mate and husband who's been pacing back and forth in their room for the past ten minutes. When another growl left his mouth she rolled her eyes. "Would you stop? You're making me dizzy."

"It's been three days." He said without glancing her way.

"I know."

He stopped and gave her a frustrated look. "How can you be so calm, Aelin? We haven't seen our daughter for three days!"

"I know that and I also know that she is strong and smart enough to handle herself. And-" she added. "Zachary is with her and the both of them are strong, if not the strongest beings in all the realms so they are fine."

She noticed Rowan pacing again and added. "If I were to guess, I'd say that they've been going at it ever since they left the dinner table three nights ago."

That made him stop in his tracks, this time, his face was filled with horror.

Aelin coughed to cover up a laugh. "They finally accepted their mating bond, buzzard. I don't think they are out there hunting valg."

He glared at her. "You are not helping."

"Stop your whining and join me in bed." She patted the mattress. "Let's go to sleep, if we don't hear from her by tomorrow then we will go to Velaris and ask Rhysand and Feyre if they've heard from them."

With a sigh he got in bed with her and she cuddled in his side.

"She's fine, Rowan."

He hugged her and kissed the top of her head. "I'm just... she will always be my little princess, you know?"

She smiled and nodded.

He took a deep breath and Aelin felt him tense.

She smiled again. About time you noticed.

She propped her chin on his chest and watched his emerald eyes glazed as he stared at her with all the love in the world.

"I can't wait to have many sleepless nights." He heartedly joked and Aelin laughed.

Rowan pulled her on top of him so she was straddling him, "I love you." He whispered, looking into her Ashryver eyes then he trailed down and placed his right hand on her flat stomach. "And you." He told the little baby that was growing inside his mate's stomach.

Evalin woke up to the feeling of kisses on her neck. "Mm, good morning." She snuggled closer to her mate who was spooning her.

"Good morning, beautiful." Zachary hugged her naked body to his, feeling the warmth of her skin against his and instantly getting hard. He's been like this for three days and he couldn't control it, the thought of her, her smell, her beauty, her voice when she screamed out his name every time he pounded into her. He let out a moan when Evalin pressed her ass against his hard member.

"Looks like someone is happy." She giggled.
