Evalin woke up and tried to move but couldn't because arms were keeping her trapped.

"Gavryn, move," She groaned.

He groaned in his sleep.

"Gavryn," she whined.

"Hm?"

"I want to get up, move."

"Oh," he let her go. "Sorry," he rubbed his eyes. "How are you feeling today?"

She sat on the edge of her bed and shrugged, "Still feel like crap, but life goes on."

She had come to her room right after she found out that Zachary had a girlfriend and stayed there crying. That's how Gavryn had found her, she told him what had happened and he stayed all day with her eating cake.

She had started crying during the night and he had hugged her and they fell asleep that way, she really had the best cousin in the world.

She stood up and looked at him, "Brunette suits you."

"You think so?" He ran his fingers through his hair. "I wanted to change it."

"Well it suits you, makes you look more like aunt Lys too."

She used the bathroom and went back to her room.

"You're going to see him today," Gavryn said.

"I know."

There is a beat of silence, "Eva, he is your mate."

"I know that as well, Gavryn."

"What I'm saying is that maybe you should talk to him."

She turned around to face him, "And say what, exactly? Hey Zach, I'm your mate so you should break up with your girlfriend because destiny wants us together."

[A.N. Break up with your girlfriend I'm bored... sorry proceed.]

"Why don't you start by not saying that?"

She sighed, "I get you're trying to help, but I'll be fine really." He opened his mouth but she cut him off, "Now get out of my room so I can get changed."

She changed into her leather clothes and for once in her life she actually looked forward to training.

Zachary was imagining that the punching bag was the browned haired male that was all tangled up with Evalin last night. Her family was going to show up in a few hours and he was conflicted between wanting to see her and not wanting to see her.

The confusion only made him angrier and to make matters worse, he didn't know why he was so mad which made him punch the bag even harder and harder. He could feel his uncles gazes on him, they had asked him what was wrong and he had snapped at them so they only watched him train from afar.

"Zachary," His father's voice came from behind him but he ignored him. "Zach."

He punched harder and harder.

"Zachary Archeron!"

"What?!" He punched the bag so hard that it fell off from where it was hanging.

He was panting and all sweaty.

"What's going on, son?"

"Nothing," he said through clenched teeth.

"Fine, be that way." Then out of nowhere he asked, "What are your thoughts on finding a mate?"

He turned around, still panting. "Why are you asking me this again?"
