Kyles POV

Charlotte swiftly closed her bedroom door. My body slumps against the wall outside her bedroom as I hear her crying out her soul. I had seen that look in her eyes before, it was the look she gave her father when he yelled the night I came over; pure fear. Once again she was afraid of me, she thought I was about to hit her but I could never harm her or anyone else. As my worry demolished my anger, I heard Charlotte's door open, she was hyperventilating. Standing up I wrap my arms around her and try to calm her down.

'Shhh deep breath' I kept repeating. After a little bit I felt confident that she was breathing okay again. So letting her go I stepped back and crossed my arms over my chest. As I stood there Charlotte broke down in front of me.

'Kyle I'm sorry for freaking out. The memories just haven't faded and when you yelled I was reminded of the night you came over. The night I actually felt like death was my only way out' my arms fell like dead weight to my side as her words hit me.

'you have nothing to be sorry about Charlie. I should've known not to lose my temper so I am sorry.' I tell her as I wrap my arms around her shaking body, her arms rest softly on my waist. 'Is this okay Char' I ask her and she gives a slight nod. I tighten my arms around her as I think how I wished this would not just be my today and my tomorrow but my forever.

After a while Charlotte and I sat on the couch, she curled up against my side as I wrapped a protective arm around her waist pulling her close. Flicking on the TV we both sat there cuddled up in the peaceful silence. When the movie we were watching ended I looked down to see Charlotte asleep in my arms, this reminded me of the first night I comforted her; the night her brother was killed. I can tell since that night Charlotte has changed for the better and my feelings towards her have gotten stronger. I really was in love with this girl. The girl is my student but she's also my Charlie. Kissing the top of her head I picked her up bridal style, her arms wrapped around my neck and I held her close to my chest. Opening her door I laid her on the bed, as I took her shoes off she started to stir a bit so I quickly finished with her shoes and looked back at her face. She seemed so peaceful like this, her lips were in a small smile, her hair in a messy bun and I couldn't see her eyes but I knew they were a dazzling pale blue fading into grey. They sparkled in the light yet held so much pain inside. The most beautiful eyes really have cried the most tears. Kissing her head I walked towards the door.

'Stay with me?' a soft whispered sounded behind. Looking back I saw that Charlotte's eyes were a fraction open as she looked towards me. Thinking about my decision I took off my shoes and got in the other side of the bed. I felt Charlie's back against my front so I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my chin in the nook of her neck.

'Always' I simply say and she cuddles up. We both fell asleep and my dreams consisted of Charlie and a life of happiness.

When I woke up I was about to get up when I realised that I wasn't in my own bed. Looking beside me I saw the beauty of my life; Charlotte was curled up to my side her hair everywhere yet she looked so peaceful. Remembering what happened last time I left her alone in bed, I slid back to where I was and closed my eyes. A few more minutes sleep would be okay.

Charlotte's POV

When I began to wake I could feel muscular arms wrapped around waist. I looked back to see a very adorable Kyle sleeping with his mouth open a jar. Giggling a little I turned so we were face to face. Tapping his nose with my finger his eyes didn't open but he spoke 'Good morning misfit' he chuckled. I giggled at his comment.

'Good morning stinky breath' I tease before attempting to get out of the bed. Kyles arms wrapped around my waist tighter and pulled me back.

'Where do you think you're going?' he joked and I laughed.
