" jackson? are you awake? "

jackson groaned and opened his eyes. he was lying down on the hospital bed. he felt a sharp pain on his face. looking up, he saw jinyoung and jaebum staring down at him.

" hey jacks! the doctor said that you're fine. you only have a few bruises on  your face and body so you can be discharged today, " jaebum explained, ruffling the younger's hair, smiling.

jackson sighed and leaned back. he looked at jinyoung and noticed his tear-stricken face. jaebum winked at him and went out of the room. jinyoung sat down beside him and began to fidget with his fingers.

" jinyoung... " jackson placed his hand on top of the younger's, " why didn't you tell me about what you have been going through before? "

jinyoung smiled sadly, " i-i didn't wanna bother you. i'm not the type to open up to people easily. yeah, i do tell jaebum because we've been friends since we were 15. we are very close. he's the only one who understands me. "

jackson nodded and slowly began to trace circles around the younger's hand to calm him down.

" but now, i trust you. you saved me from my father. i...i really like you jackson. i really do, " jinyoung confessed, a blush evident on his face.

jackson grinned, " oh really? i like you too, jinyoungie. "

jinyoung looked down but jackson could tell he was blushing furiously and he was trying to contain his smile. jackson sat up and pulled jinyoung closer to him. he traced his finger across his lips and closed the gap between them. jinyoung gasped but returned the kiss. jackson intwined their fingers together and deepened the kiss. when they pulled away for air, jackson made space for the younger and motioned for him to lie down. jinyoung laid his head on jackson's chest. jackson's fingers found their way to jinyoung's brown locks and began playing with his hair.

" i love you jinyoungie. "
