Taylor was sat in JJ's waiting for Lucy to show up. She hadn't seen her best friend in a few days and was really excited to see her again. She had so much to tell her. Work is good. She has made some new friends. Well Donna. April was an odd case because she hated her but there is clearly something between them.

"Hey! Oh my god, I miss you so much!" Lucy runs over and hugs her friend. It's only been a few days but it feels like a lifetime.

"I missed you too, Lou! Come. Sit. I ordered you some pancakes."

"You're such a good friend." She laughed. Lucy and Taylor had been friends since high school. They know everything there is to know about each other. "So, has work improved?"

"Yes actually! Donna is really nice so I've made friends with her." Taylor beamed.

"What about April?"

"Yeah. She is... interesting. Some days I want to kill her and some days I want to..." Taylor's thoughts ran wild in her head. Where was she going with this sentence? "Yeah, She is weird." Oh, great one. That doesn't sound suspicious at all.

"You are acting strange. What's happening?" Lucy had clearly caught onto Taylor's nervousness from the question.

"Nothing." She said quickly.

"Really?" Lucy asked, lifting her eyebrows and tilting her head slightly.

"Ok. April is really hot. There. I said it." Taylor breathed a sigh of relief.

"Wow! Glad to see you are moving on."

"I'm not gonna go for it. I just think April is hot."

"I'm what?"

Taylor looked up and saw April hovering next to their table. She looked so good in her leather jacket. Proving Taylor's point. Taylor could feel her pulse going through the roof. She had to think of something to say to that.

"She said you were a really great boss." Lucy said smirking and winked at Taylor. Taylor rolled her eyes before looking back up at the brown eyed girl. She met her gaze.

"Have you heard about this trip that we have to go on with work?" April asked.

"No. Ew. What is it?" She screwed up her nose.

"Apparently Leslie is gonna explain today but I've heard it's a weekend of camping so we can all 'bond' with each other." She air quoted.

"When is it?"

"This weekend! If you don't believe in buying a tent for the sake of one weekend, I have a tent for two if you're ok with sharing." April asked, seeming less composed than normal.

"That would be great. If you don't mind."

"No, of course not! I'd love to have company." She smiled down at Taylor. Intense eye contact occurring once again. "See you in a bit, Tay." Then she turned around and walked off.

Tay? Only Lucy and, well, her ex, Katie had ever called her that. Tay. It sounded so good coming out of those lips. She could listen to April call her Tay for the rest of eternity.

Lucy looked at Taylor, mouth wide open. "You are fully gonna hook up on this trip!" She said before bursting into laughter.

"Shut up! No we won't!" She shouted as her cheeks went red.

"She wants to get in your pants! And you'll let her!" Lucy was basically rolling on her seat by now. She couldn't believe what she had just witnessed.

"We are just staying in a tent together!" Taylor said forcefully.

"That's how it always starts." She laughs. "Anyway, I have to go now. Have fun on your 'camping' trip."

"Is everyone ready for a fun weekend?" Leslie seemed to be the only person who was excited about having to spend the weekend in a forest. "I have a full schedule of activity's to help us bond. Also I have a prize for the overall winner of the activities."

"Do we have to?" April showed her usual enthusiasm.

"Come on April. This is a brilliant once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." Taylor said sarcastically. She smiled at April who chewed on her lip to stop herself from laughing.

"That's the spirit!" Leslie had totally missed the sarcasm. "The bus is outside so we can leave whenever we are ready."

"I would rather chop off my hand then go on this trip." Ron chimed in.

"Ew. I wouldn't. I think this will be fun." Andy said positively, as ever.

"So long as I don't have to sleep in a tent then I'm ok." Announced Tom.

"That's kind of the point of camping." April gave him a confused look.

"Well, I'm not going!"

"If I'm not back in time to watch twilight, I'm not gonna be happy!" Donna exclames.

"I'm just glad to have been invited." Jerry said.

"Well I'm glad everyone's looking forward to this trip!" Leslie ignored her colleagues complaints. "Let's go and have a fun weekend of bonding!" She ushered them out of the office and to the car park. A coach sat outside, awaiting the parks employees. They all clambered in.

Taylor went and sat near the back. She already wanted to go home. She wasn't an outdoorsy type. She had only been camping once. She was 10 and had gone with her school on a trip. It was awful. Their campsite was invaded by nosey badgers which ate everything left outside their tents. She woke up the next morning and her shoes had been taking by the black and white creatures. She hadn't been again since that incident. Why would she? There was nothing to look forward to.

Well, maybe there was one thing...

"Hey. Do you mind if I sit here?" April asked. Taylor shook her head and moved her bag. She would get to spend the weekend with the most interesting and sexy person she had ever met. And what's more, they were sharing a tent! At least there was one positive.

April nudged her and handed her an earphone. She leaned closer and put it in her ear. She brought her hand back down to her side, purposely grazing April's leg with her fingertips. If she was going to have to go camping all weekend, she might as well have some fun.
