I don't trust him.

It's been a few days since Angie and I had that conversation and I still have no idea what's going on between her and Michael. She occasionally goes out without saying where she's going and I have a feeling she's going to see Michael. I spoke to Vilu and she says she doesn't think there's any possibility that Angie will go back to him. Vilu thinks she just wants answers. That makes two of us.

"Mr German, can I get you anything?" asked Olga as she burst through my office doors.

"Olga, what are you doing here? Go home. You don't work here, you have a wedding to plan." Olga had been round the mansion a lot recently, acting like she still works here. I've tried to ignore it but now I need to know what she's doing here.

"But Mr German, Ramallo is driving me mad." She shouted. Ramallo? Driving her mad? Surely it's the other way round!

"Olga! Go!" I said sternly. "Go and plan your wedding."

Olga sighed and nodded. "Okay Mr.German." I followed Olga out of my office and opened the door for her to leave. Olga disappeared and I was about to shut the door when I saw someone coming towards the door. Michael? Before I could even think about shutting the door, Michael was at my door step. His blonde hair almost covered is dark eyes and he stood, tall and causal with his hands in his pockets.

"Angie lives here, right?" he asked rudely.

"Yes." I replied bluntly. I could be rude, too. I'm not sure if he recognised me from Pablo's engagement party, but I certainly remember him. It's weird, actually. He may be Pablo's brother, but they look nothing alike.

"Well can I see her?" He snapped. I really didn't like him. Maybe that's because he used to date Angie? Or still is dating Angie, after all, she did tell me they are engaged. He also mentioned a baby, which completely slipped my mind! I must ask Angie about that!

"She's out." I lied, knowing full well she was upstairs in her room. I kept my voice down, afraid that she'd hear the conversation and come downstairs. I don't want him in my house and I don't want him near Angie.

"Really?" He asked smugly, "because she asked me to meet her here at 3 o'clock and it's 5 past."

"Well she must have forgot." I lied, "now if you'll excuse me, I've got things to do." I growled before attempting to shut the door, but he was quick and wedge the door open with his foot.

"What have you got against me?" He grinned, titling his head to the side.

Everything. "You hurt Angie once. I won't let you do it again." I stated, avoiding his question.

Michael snorted and gave out a laugh. "I hurt her, huh? What exactly has Angie told you?" He was so smug, I wanted to punch him, right there and then. But I didn't. For Angie's sake.

Michael's question made me grow quiet. What was I supposed to say? She hadn't told me anything really. He laughed harder before giving me a smug smile. "That's exactly what I thought."

"Alright, jerk. You can leave now." I demanded. This comment seemed to anger him a lot more than I intended it to. He lunged forward and grabbed me by my collar. "What did you just call me?" he asked, he gritted his teeth as he spoke.

"You heard me." I stated calmly. I wasn't going to let him think I was scared of him. He once again laughed before pushing me back and letting go of my collar.

"Whatever." He grinned, "make sure you tell Angie I was here." he demanded before turning and walking away. I quickly closed the door and stood there in disbelief. He seemed very short tempered. I wonder if he ever lost his temper with Angie. Just the thought of him raising his voice at Angie, or even worse, laying a finger on Angie, made me angry.

I was interrupted mid thought by the sound of someone running down the stairs. It was Angie. She looked beautiful. She wasn't wearing anything dressy, in fact, she looked casual. She just caught my eye. I noticed that she was wearing brown feathered earrings, she used to wear them all the time, then she stopped wearing them as often. I've never told her, but I really do love her feathered earrings! They're much nicer than the earrings jade and Esmerelda used to wear.

"Who was that at the door?" She chirped as she approached me.

"Oh nobody!" I said, shaking off her question.

"Really?" She asked with a frown, "because I had someone who was supposed to be here about ten minutes ago..."

Busted.

"Alright, alright, I won't lie to you... Michael came round, but I told him you were out." I said quickly, before I changed my mind and lied to her.

"Why did you do that?" She asked as she crossed her arms, waiting for me to explain.

"Because." I started, "because I didn't want him in my house."

Angie sighed and walked closer to me, she put her hand on my arm and I could feel the electricity. I wonder if she felt the same? Probably not. "I'm sorry. I understand, I'll make sure he doesn't come around here again." She leaned in and pulled me into a hug, I was shocked at first, but then I hugged her back. "Thanks for telling me the truth, German." She spoke into my shirt.

"Angie, can I ask you something?" I asked quietly. She quickly pulled away and looked up at me.

"Of course, what is it?" She beamed at me.

"Michael. He mentioned a baby. What baby was he referring to?" Angie took a step back from me and looked unsure and I immediately felt terrible for asking. "I'm sorry, you don't have to answer that I was jus-"

"There is no baby." She stated calmly.

"Oh?" I questioned. I was hoping for a bit more detail than that.

"German, I have to go. But I'll explain everything to you when I get back. I promise." She walked closer to me and gave me a quick peck on the cheek, making my heart flip. Before I had time to ask her where she was going, she was off. I knew where she was going anyway, to see Michael. After what I saw of that man today I do not trust him at all. I have to follow her.

Without thinking I grabbed my coat and followed her out the door, making sure she wouldn't see me.
